I noticed in JH's Facebook post a couple days ago that the beards had listened and they would add to the new menu a soup, salad and Creme brûlée and Grand marnier soufflé! This is great news.
I haven't seen anything posted on here about it but it was sort of buried in one of his long posts. Still no B &B though. But at least things are looking up. I hope they have it added in time for my Liberty cruise in May!
On our last cruise we went to the steakhouse the night Bitter 'n Blanc was served. Our waiter promised to try to have it for me another night, but that didn't happen. Truly one of my favorites just because it's not something you can order at many places.

All I can think about is the chocolate melting cake...I really missed that on our last cruise.
Oh my goodness, WCMC - love it, can't wait.

We will also be on that sailing. We've enjoyed Miracle and Legend, but both wanted to experience more of the 2.0 offerings and a longer cruise. DH tried the Red Frog beer last year and is really excited to visit the Red Frog Bar. I also think he's ready for Guy's burgers, but I thought the grill near the mid-ship's pool was great.
Just ready for a cruise, too bad it's so long.

Some people say you can get the same time, same table (or at least wait staff). I would like to know how that works. (The front desk people in the dining room were far too busy for me to ask.)
Kathy
When we got to the hostess station, we were always asked if we wanted the same servers, which we did, and every night we were seated immediately. This was on the Legend.

We printed out a list of wines from the packages they offer on board, took it to our favorite wine shop and bought several of them. Did our own taste test at home, a little pre-vacation fun, and found some that we really liked. It worked for us, but even if you don't want to buy a package, that list will give you something to work with.
Good luck!

One thing we really liked was that we could have the same servers every night, so we did get to know them and they learned what we liked, just like set dining.

We saw him a month ago on Legend. Only wish they would move the comedy show to the larger theater. We got seats, but a lot were turned away and they didn't empty the theater after each show. Great for us, not so great for those who came later.

And it is so quiet, only pax with cabins go back there, unless they are lost.
Favorite story: We arrived at our cabin one afternoon and two older women asked us how they could get to the back of the ship.
When my DH said they were at the back, they asked where they could see the wake. He opened the door, and since we had left the curtains open, they could see they truly were as far aft as they could be on that deck.
Love our aft-facing cabin, we already have one booked on Liberty.

OP, it's the first sea day. on the first night the dress code is relaxed.
Back to that bottle of wine, the cabin steward will provide a cork screw and a wine glass, if asked.

When we arrived about 10, there were already folks waiting to check in, but we went around them to the FTTF check-in. There were delays in allowing boarding, but we sat with others and visited until 11:30, when they announced priority boarding. A handful of folks went on, then about 40 of us lined up and we were on board in a few minutes. Went straight to our cabin and dropped off carry-ons, which was a huge plus for us. In the Lido for lunch watching others drag stuff around was a reminder that was the best perk of all.
We went to Guest Services for tendering once and they took us right past all the people waiting. We were on the first tender and that was nice too.
Debarkation was a nightmare. The ship was two hours late due to fog. We went to the designated lounge for priority and FTTF, but after they took priority guests, no one came back for us. We found a crew member who said follow him and we were taken to the exit. Off the ship and in the car by 11:45.
They need to train crew members on how to handle FTTF. Even with the stickers on our cards, we had issues there at the end.

If you buy wine by the bottle or the package, there's no corkage fee. Since you don't plan to bring wine on board, no worries.
In addition to the five-bottle plan we brought the two allowed bottles. One night we were charged the $10 corkage fee, the other night we were not. It just depends on your bar staff.

Forgot to mention that we had FTTF for this cruise -- money well-spent IMO!
Straight on the ship, straight to our cabin, checked bags received within an hour. So we were unpacked at ready for vacay by 12:30! :) And the priority tendering in Grand Cayman was the best.
:p
We are also on the Legend on 12/8 and glad to read FTTF was worth it. Love Legend and thrilled to read such a positive review!

While that has not happened to us (failing to finish a bottle of wine at dinner:eek:), they do recork it and allow you to take it with or serve it the next night.

I honestly would go back to Cozumel on the Paradise just to go to Nachi Cocum.
It's beautiful.
We loved it two years ago and will be there again in a month. One of our favorite excursions. You managed to order a lot more food than we did, some of that looks really good.

John Heald posted all the dates for the holiday decor, but I can't find it.
We've been hit or miss on being on a ship with Christmas decorations even though we sail the week after Thanksgiving or later.
I'm hoping the ship will be done by the time we arrive.
Also really enjoying the review as a way to get through the next month.
Question about tables at the main dining room?

When we did anytime dining last year on the Legend, after the first evening, the hostess asked if we wanted the same servers and also whether we wanted to sit alone or share a table. Marjan from Croatia was a wonderful waiter and we were thrilled to have him take care of us the rest of the cruise. The last night, we were the first two at the table and he offered to bring us a cheese plate while we waited. I think anytime dining provides an exceptional experience.
