  1. Some people would sue the cruise line, claiming their luggage got wet because there was not a warning label on the sprinkler in three languages.

Instead, you set the example for your children and showed them what it means to take responsibility for your actions with honesty and integrity. You have taught them a valuable lesson and they will not only be more careful next time, they stand a pretty strong chance of growing into responsible adults if this is a typical response from you.

You are exactly the kind of parent that I would want on my ship if I were in charge.

  2. I get motion sickness fairly easily. I used the wristbands on my first cruise last fall and they worked perfectly with no side effects whatsoever. First time I've been on a boat and not gotten sick, but this was also my first cruise ship. Haven't tried wristbands on a smaller boat since then.

I did not want to be drugged and drowsy on my vacation, so I was happy to find something that worked.

  3. I bought a pair of Brita bottles with the built in filters for our cruise at the end of the month. In my opinion, they did a poor job of removing the chlorine taste from our local tap water. In addition, they had a strong taste and smell of plastic.

I would encourage people to get them in advance and try them first so they are not disappointed, and take some time to break them in before the cruise.
