I would guess until the Inaugural Season merchandise sells out?
hmmm never thought of that!

I keep seeing it websites posting the "Carnival Panorama Inaugural Season". I know the first sailing is the Inaugural cruise, but wondering what they mean by season. Anyone know ?? First 3 months, year, etc...?? Or there is no such thing!

Get a balcony and sleep on there, my friend does every cruise. Serenity deck they leave you alone as well!

I have heard others can still go, she will need to miss the cruise to file the claim, the insurance will reimburse her, not Carnival. But really it will depend on the insurance co. not others and Carnival.

I think that gray area is upper part of the new Sky Zone that will be on the Panorama. It's replacing the IMAX theater that's on the Vista and the Horizon.
Skyzone is on the other end of deck 6, it is forward, the cabin is more aft :)

I have not found this to be the case with ambulatory accessible cabins. Only difference I have found is the seat in shower and extra grab bars. The doorway is wider too. With the fully accessible they are bigger especially the bathroom. Do you need fully accessible? I have been on several of the different classes of ships but not the Vista class.
I have found this too for other class ships, just heard on Vista class ships they are slightly larger. My roommate does not need a fully accessible cabin, however I have stayed in many fully accessible cabins, and yes they are larger. First time on Vista class ship for me and roomie! Just curious if what I was told is true, it will not make a difference either way :)

ok will do that...lets hope its ok lol
I'm sure it will be, I have heard since it is a accessible cabin it is slightly larger than the others but it's hard to tell that on all the deck plans! https://www.carnival.com/common/CCLUS/ships/ship/htmlDeckplans.aspx?&shipCode=PO#deck/6

No, the new program (AARP Rewards) started today. Some people still aren't able to access the new website from AARP's main site yet, but if you go to https://www.aarp.org/rewards/, you should be able to log on. Apparently, you should also get an email telling you it's available.
Yes it said yesterday it was beginning but none of the pages were working for me so I said it would start today :) It looks like the Carnival gift cards are now members only purchase. They are having a lot of kinks, as the quizzes are not giving the correct amount of points for quizzes. So give them time to work them out.

I had the social plan wifi and my fitbit wouldn't sync, but as soon as I got home and took it off airplane mode, it synced right up. I was gone 7 days.
-
The AARP is being renamed and will not be available until tomorrow. If you already had points, they will comp you some new points, but it is starting over with a new company handling the rewards, so points won't transfer>

Yes, boarding is done on an individual basis, not by cabin. All will be fine!

They call for Diamond, platinum and then FTTF first, then they call for those with self assist before they call the decks :)

Do they have to be mid day? Does anyone ever have one in the late hours?
You can choose anytime you want, but keep in mind, if you want others to join the fun, you need to be mindful of the other ship activities that might be happening at the same time. Many of these slot pulls are done as a filler for not much happening on the ship at the time and lets make some money hehehe. Also choice of machines you want to used have a better chance to be empty. They do not reserve or let you reserve the machines.

Also as a side note, they refunded our port fees for Catalina that first day, and expected to be recharged for them when we ported in Catalina, but we were not recharged, so it was a freebee port :)

I think even in this scenario, the ship would need to dock under perfect conditions. there could be no fog, no port delay, no engine trouble. it would just need to be perfect...and I think it would just be too stressful.
I agree, I would do as others said :)

If you carry off your own luggage, and let guest services know you need off asap, you should be ok. Providing the ship docks and gets cleared on time! We had an excursion booked and was off the ship by 8am, self assist people started disembarking at 7 am.

Sorry, my first post was not clear, we had our sea day first, then the next day Catalina, then Ensenada. Monday we were originally scheduled for Catalina, but had rough seas which made tendering impossible. So the Captain changed our sea day to Monday, Catalina to Tuesday and Ensenada to Wednesday. :) According to the CD, the days activities were the same as if they happened on the original day, except they had to change some activities due to rough waters mid-day on Monday, so they are not listed on the funtimes. Hope this makes better sense :)

They didn't add any activities or dining even though you couldn't tender?
No, they just swapped days around, we went to Catalina the next day. They did add a few activities as some could not be done in rough waters.

Jan 20th - 24th, 2019 Mon.-Thur.
Sea day was moved to first day due to rainy/windy weather and could not tender to Catalina! I was told Funtimes were the same!

I use insuremytrip.com as well! Easy to compare different plans to fit my needs! I usually get the extra medical evac and cancel for any reason policy!

They are not called guidelines. Carnival’s rules on the MDR dress code are very clear and specifically state what is NOT ALLOWED in the MDR on casual nights and on elegant nights. They may not enforce them, but their dress code rules are not vague or ambiguous.
It was stated by John Heald the dress code was more of a guideline than rule but should be followed, so I based my statement by that :)
