What are the ports please, if you don't mind? I'm deciding between Jewel and Vision.

Vision TA out of Galveston ports are San Juan, Ponta Delgada, Malaga, Alicante, Palma de Mallorca and then Barcelona.

They usually "catch" the fact that you are a consecutive cruiser and don't deliver until your real last night.

 

Just make friends with someone on the first cruise. Give them cash to buy your bottle. Get it from their cabin their last night. :D:halo:

Curious, if you book B2B and buy liquor, is it delivered to your cabin the last night of the first cruise? Have done B2B but never tested this.

I just bought OBC for family members who are traveling. I hope it covers for a meal for 2. I tried to do a search and wasn't able to get clear answers. It seems to vary from ship to ship and it appears Chops has raised their rates recently.

 

Also - any reviews on Giovannis Table?

Giovannis Table on Liberty is really good. Maybe our favorite. We normally really love Sabor on any ship. Will skip it next time on Liberty. Just wasn't good.

Have done that numerous times and never had a problem.

We booked the Symphony TA last night. Were able to book it online with a lot of effort. You will not believe how it happened. We were getting frustrated trying to get anything but a blank page when we clicked on the category balcony. It would just go to a blank screen. I clicked on the blank screen and low and behold it brought up a page with pricing for a random room. We looked at the room on the Harmony deck plans and it was perfect for our needs. Today the same category is $644 more. We are feeling lucky! BTW, this worked on my MAC with safari. I had no luck with Chrome.

We are at sea. Arrive in Galveston in the AM. Our last port was Jamaica on Thursday.

Not sure what happened. An inside room on the 10th deck was covered up with security earlier when we walked by. They were taking the room apart. I've never seen anything like it. They were calling for additional security as we walked by. When we came back by later, the room is locked and an empty open suitcase is sitting in the hall. My guess is drugs and folks are now in a new "cabin." Must have been serious for all that commotion.

Did anyone else notice the USS Zumwalt on station to starboard? This was such a fun experience seeing the 3 sisters. A fabulous TA cruise on an awesome ship.

Great idea. We are really excited about this cruise and better start packing with less than a week left. Trying to just use carryon. Not sure that will work, but maybe......:rolleyes:

We had the same thing happen to us recently. We are Diamond PLus and took 2 granddaughters on the cruise. All our luggage tags said Gold. Didn't effect anything. Tried to get it fixed before, with no luck. Really didn't affect anything. Strange RC can't get this right, but oh well.

I would rather have well behaved kids than dogs in the DL... Seeing more of that lately...

RC told us a notarized letter with both parents signature plus it had to state the specific cruise we were on.

NOpe, is not consistent across all ships. Has always worked for us on Oasis. Used to work on Navigator, but no more. One of those "policies" not consistently applied across all RC Ships. The argument is a glass of wine can be anywhere from a 4 oz to a 6 oz pour per glass. Many think a bottle of wine is 5 glasses vs 4. We always give this a shot and have had it work every time but one.

We will be Diamond Plus after a Liberty cruise 8/16. Our first cruise as a D+ will be the 10/16 Harmony TA. I understand from reading on boards here one benefit offered D+ is 1 BOGO specialty dining. I looked at the C&A site and am not finding this. Is this correct that it is offered to D+? We have already purchased the 5 night specialty dining package for each of us on the Harmony TA. On another board, I read purchasing a specialty dining package before the cruise would void the ability to use the BOGO D+ dining benefit and we would lose it. I have confused myself just typing all this. IF you are still with me and understand what I am asking, I would appreciate any advice. Much thanks.

We have traveled with a fan on every cruise and we are Diamond Plus. Never had a problem. Is a 6" Vornado flip fan that fits easily in our luggage. Reaches across the room so never need an extension cord. Love it and couldn't sleep without it.

First sorry to hear of the issues on NOS. I saw on your post that you did b2b on two different ships. How did that work as far as transfer from one ship to the other if you don't mind elaborating i am thinking of doing this.

Was a breeze. Went to the service desk on Oasis. They told us after we cleared customs and exited the terminal, to go up to anyone and ask for help. Did that and was pointed to a desk where they were coordinating buses for the airport, etc. They had a bus we hopped on that took us directly to Navigator which was a 5 minute ride. Not a problem at all.
