We've seen the monkeys, too!  I think we have pix...but do not feed.

Anyway, leaving keys for the parking lot is common in many cities.  It allows the operator of the lot to move vehicles around to accomodate the different schedules of their customers.

Believe me, if there were problems with this issue at Park n Go it would be all over the evening news and CC!

I only leave the key to my car with the Park n' Go staff.  I carry my other keys on board ship to prevent anyone duplicating them while I'm on my cruise.   Hope this helps!

Thank you both for the info, it’s been very helpful. ParkNgo it is!!!!!

I like to idea of also being dropped off and then picked up instead of having to try and maneuver throughout the port to find the garage, and then a space, and then walk a country mile to the terminal. 😀

Park n' Go is my "go to" when parking in Ft. Lauderdale!   I parked in the Port Everglades garage one time.  It's a very long walk across a busy street from the garage to the port.  Plus, it takes a long time to drive around the garage to locate a parking space.

At Park n' Go, the advantages include:

    • Online reservations where pre-payment is less than half of the cost of parking in the port garage
    • You drop your car off by the shuttles and they park your car for you.
    • The shuttle immediately takes you to your port
    • Upon disembarkation, the shuttles are already at the port or on their way to you
    • They drop you off at your car
    • Easy, quick check out with a complementary bottle of water and you are on your way!

If you're lucky, you may also spot the monkeys that live on the property.

Thank you for the info, this is very helpful!!! You didn’t have any issues with leaving your keys with them?

We drive to FLL from South Carolina and have done this VERY MANY times.

Like to spend the night at a nice full service hotel a couple or so hours away from FLL the night before to break up the trip. Then drive down in the morning.

The port terminal parking works best for us.  We drive to the area to drop of luggage.  The porter takes our luggage and we park at the terminal.

When we return, a porter takes our luggage to the car.

Never waiting for suttles is a big PLUS to us.  :classic_cool:

Are the directions to the parking garage pretty easy to navigate or are the police helpful with telling you where to go?

I've looked through the forum, but can't seem to find an answer to my questions.

For those that have used PRkNGo, how long did it take after you've returned to wait for the shuttle, get to your car and ultimatly being on your way? Also, any issues with leaving them the keys?

Sorry, this is for Port Everglades

  6. No!

The 125% will be calculated AFTER taxes and fees have been taken out. You will not get 125% of $1260.

The $1260 wasn’t including taxes and fees. The $1260 was after I subtracted the taxes and fees from the total amount.

  7. Just to make sure, if I paid $1260pp for the cabin, that’s the amount that will be 125% with the prepaid gratuities, taxes, and fees being refunded to the original credit card.

Nachi is a great way to spend the day of you are looking forward to an all-inclusive beach club with great food, drinks and service. Quiet, uncrowded (limited to 130 customers per day) and relaxing. When it was just the wife and i, with no kids, it was our favorite pre-virus place on the island.

If you don't want AI then check out Paradise Beach - $3 admission fee/chair rental, a HUGE pool, and good food and service (love the new taxi truck!).

Do you remember how much a cab was to Nachi?  I've looked and cant seem to find anything recent. tia

  9. Nope! 5-6 ships is about average for Cozumel, or at least it was pre-virus. If there are no cabs waiting the staff at Nachi will call one for you. We have never had to wait more than 5 minutes.

Thanks, much appreciated. Is Nachi a pretty decent way to spend the day?

  10. The days we’re in Cozumel there will be 5 large cruise ships in port. With that many people will it be hard to find a cab to take us back from Nachi Cocom to the pier?

  11. we'll be on Celebrity.  Which pier do they dock at? Thanks for the info.  I've been reading and there are a few I saw, Nachi Cocum, Playa Mia Grand Beach Park, Mr Sanchos, and one next to a pier El Cid La Ceiba Resort.

    * MSC Yacht Club bookings made from December 16, 2018 and forward, for travel on/after January 1, 2019, will have the new Yacht Club cancellation in effect (listed above).

All penalties above exclude government taxes and fees.

A name change fee of $75.00 per name change will apply for any name change made within 89 days prior to sailing. Limit of 1 name change per reservation.

For the World Cruise, a non-refundable deposit equal to 15% of the price of the Package is due and payable by the Passenger within the first week starting from the date of the booking confirmation. Cancellation penalty begins 119 days prior to sailing up until your cruise. Please see above for the cancellation penalty policy, reflecting specific dates and the amount of penalty.

MSC Cruises reserves the right to retake unsold allotment space at any time. Sold allotment space is defined as staterooms for which MSC Cruises has received the required names and deposits.

No refund will be issued if a guest voluntarily or involuntarily does not show up for their cruise, is denied boarding for any reason including failure to possess required travel documents, passport or visa or terminates his/her cruise in progress. Cruise contracts are non-transferable. More than one name change or a cruise date change is considered a reservation cancellation and is subject to the above cancellation charges. Cancellation charges are assessed on total fares, which include cruise fare, air add-ons, hotel packages, and any other additional services arranged through MSC Cruises. Government taxes and fees will be refunded.

MSC Cruise offers vacation insurance at the time of booking. The company recommends that every Passenger should have adequate insurance which covers them sufficiently for cruise cancellation, medical assistance and expenses, loss and/or damage of luggage.

To make sure I also understand this, from a booking in the U.S., if I have a 7 day cruise booked and I cancel 90 or more days in advance I get a full refund?

  13. @Skier52 Could you please tell me if cabin 13256, 13269 in the aft and 12005-12013 in the front of the ship on the Seaside have a full or partial clear or metal balcony?  Would you know if there is a lot of foot traffic by the lift at the end of the ship near these cabins as well?

  14. I was on board Mariner cruising from Singapore to Shanghai last year and ended up with an infection requiring IV therapy for 3 days. As a nurse I was amazed with their facilities including pathology results in 10 minutes!

I received a report for my own GP and a very detailed invoice went directly onto my seapass account which I then submitted to my insurance company. I was fully covered for all my investigations, consultations and medications.

Most impressed with the service and their efficiencies. It is not a service that I would be expecting to use!

Do you remember which insurance company you used?
