  1. Around

Looks like the perfect time to go (markets should be in full swing) on a line/ship I would luv to try! ;)

Looks like a great sailing! Would look forward to your posts when you sail if you are able to / planning on posting - but understand if you are two busy!

I will be more than happy to post photos and updates!!

  2. We have just booked a December 10-20, 2019 Christmas Market river cruise as well. Vienna to Vienna, included Melk, Linz, Passau etc... So excited as it will be our first river cruise. Hoyaheel if you have any tips please share, would love to know more about the markets and what to expect.

  3. Did you take that picture yourself? Photoshop? Copy and paste? Try X and find out for yourself definitively. You don't know anyone here, so how can you possibly trust the opinions of faceless, nameless posters in a public forum? The best suggestion (and this is absolutely my last on the subject) is go, taste, decide, like it or leave it....but please stop with the hand wringing, discussion based on nothing. I hope you have a wonderful cruise, enjoy yourself and find new favorite foods. Done.

No he didn’t take the picture, it’s my original picture I posted on another thread......I thought it turned out pretty good so I thought I’d stop by and take the credit.....Jo Ann

  5. We were in 8345.....loved it! We love sun on our balcony as we prefer to lounge here vs the crowed pool so it was perfect. Next cruise with have 6304 booked so will be a good comparison. 8345 no window washing equipment blocking the window. 38fecedd49cb3812fc0782048806e35d.jpg

  6. Thanks for the info on the Gourmet Walking Tour. I have contacted Nancy as our ship ( Celebrity Constellation ) docks at 9:00 Oct.26 and the tour starts at 9:30?? to see if she can accommodate that. Contacting her through the site you provided is about 13 Euros cheaper than TA. Your suggestion is much appreciated.:D:D

Your welcome. I have also reviewed her tour on TA, as well as uploaded some pictures. You can find my review there from this past Nov. under BeenAr0undTheW0rld1

  7. We loved Sete and enjoyed a wonderful gourmet walking tour with Nancy McGee that owns Absolutely Southern France. She is an English speaking Canadian that has lived in Sete for many many years and very knowledgeable in everything Sete, especial the food. She offers a small walking tour visiting all the local specialty food shops and market. We didn’t want the tour to end it was so enjoyable. She also will set up private tours for you as well. I highly her services. We have used her twice now.

  8. Does anyone knows If the waiter from lumenea, Captain Kirk is moving to the edge

Funny you should ask.... when we were on board in January we asked him and he said no, he’s been on Equinox for many years and said he’s too settled to make a change. Luminae on Equinox runs perfectly now and it’s a lot of work getting a new restaurant started. We will see him again in October and I’ll ask him again, just in case!

  9. Thank you Lloyd for posting updated pics....I would love to see more aft pics...we will be in a sunset veranda for our cruise and I’m anxious to see what she looks like from behind!

I’m looking forward to the Edge and I do like the quirkiness of the design, I like that the Edge is different. When it comes to cruising I’m Sybil, in Europe I like the more traditional ships, choosing Azamara as my number one choice while in the Caribbean I love the more Vegas feel and choose the Celebrity ships....so with that the Edge will fit right in!

  10. Don't leave it to the waiter. Talk to the Maitre D' as well as the chef. My wife has Celiac Disease and we just disembarked Millennium earlier this week where she dined in Luminae for the past 14 days with no problems whatsoever. They took special note of her Celiac disease and commented that they would ensure there was no cross contamination with gluten products for any food item prepared for her.

Yes, as MMofB stated talk to the Maitre D’, we were aboard Equinox in January and ate breakfast and most dinners in Luminae and my Mother who is celiac had nothing but spectacular service. On the second morning one of the kitchen staff came to our table to talk to her and see what she would like in the morning and reassured her he would see that all was taken care of, and it was! I think it’s really important that they understand and must be discussed with someone other than the waiter. We really had such an enjoyable dining experience.

  11. Has April fools day come a few weeks early?.

Lol exactly what I said....if I wanted juice and motivational tidbits I’d go on a yoga retreat.....

  12. Hi Murray. Thanks for the video. You’re not alone:cool::cool:. DH and I are excited about having new dining options, and we can’t wait to explore our Infinite Veranda and the rest of the ship. Cheers, Michelle

Michelle....couldn’t be more excited myself! I only wish we had more than 3 days...so many options! I can see a future onboard booking in our future [emoji4]

  13. Oh yes it’s available on Edge. You will have to request the change with your travel agent if you used one, or direct with Celebrity if you booked direct. It might be full already in which case you could request to be put on the waitlist.

Yes...when we booked onboard we requested select dining. As mentioned you can request the change with your original booking party. You will then have access to the reservations for each complimentary restaurant as well as the speciality.

  14. Just booked my 4 night dining package, once on board I’ll have the concierge make all our dining arrangements, for now we are good! On a side note what I find amusing is our cruise is the ABC islands...and on day 8 our sea day it shows excursions available to St Lucia....isn’t this awesome looks like we are going to throw down anchor and tender to St Lucia!![emoji13]
