  1. Agree. Like the jet blue passenger who just got barred from the airline for life for being selfishly stupid. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  2. Yep. Call your credit card/bank ASAP. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  3. Pretty sure we are doomed then bc that’s exactly where we are. FWIW, I don’t think you’re selfish for cruising. What’s selfish to me are those who demean others for their decision and those saying they see no reason for anyone to cancel. To me, this is simply very different for each person (which is why I’m so glad the industry is allowing some choices!). If people are ok with potential quarantines (land or sea) and don’t have jobs in high risk categories (or are high risk themselves) I think it’s absolutely fine to make your choice to sail—doesn’t make you selfish at all. 4. I honestly have not been keeping up with the WHO. Due to info overload, I’ve tried to keep up very very closely with the cdc and local news reports—with national news sprinkled in where I can and talking with people i know and trust with medical knowledge. The Italy numbers are astonishing to me. So when Fauci did nearly a 180 today, it caused me both alarm and confusion. Why now? We’ve known what’s happening in Italy and China for weeks. I’m perplexed why NOW he’s ramped it up so very much. I find it very interesting. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  5. My amounts are jacked up also. My gut tells me it will all work out in the end and there’s glitches right now. I can understand your concern is even greater bc you rebooked already. I was waiting to rebook after all my credits were properly applied but now that’s not only not the case, I couldn’t even call to rebook if I wanted to. All we can do is wait and keep calling. It’s stressful as crap! Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  6. A future date prior to March 31 of 2021. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  7. Yes (unless you booked under an offer with a different deposit amount/rule) Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  8. Yes. He has very much increased his level of concern in the past 24 hours. His house testimony was the strongest I’ve heard from him by far. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  9. What? You don’t have to book by the end of this month. My cancelation email says to contact them by March 2021 to have my FCC applied.
  10. I agree. I watched the Houston conference also (my husbands company had rodeo tickets and booths) and my overall perception from that AND dr fauci today is that without “aggressive containment” the numbers involved could go into “many millions”. Fauci’s words not mine. Extreme measures are reality now.
  11. I just canceled our may 16 Caribbean cruise yesetfar. I did this now for 2 reasons: one is because we are still within the 56 day+ category which is a cash refund of all but our deposit. The second reason was we simply had too many extenuating circumstances making it impossible to risk not returning home on the date scheduled. For us, the risks just outweighed pros (I cried for awhile yesterday bc of the disappointment). I think everyone is going to be different and you gotta do what’s best for YOU. 12. All you can do is wait and see. Nothing post- may 31 has changed for carnival yet. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  13. My town has a 3 year old who tested positive on Monday. I’ve wondered if we aren’t hearing of children near as much bc they are more immune to this for some reason or simply bc their symptoms are so mild (normal kid crud). This family here will be a very interesting case to study. We need as much data as possible to get vaccine trials going. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
  14. Carnival is still only through May 31 as of this moment. Sent from my iPhone using Forums
