  1. Wait for 2 hours after the first tender. You will be able to walk right onto the boat. We love Princess but Carnival stays in port for more hours. I think 2.
  2. My wife and I enjoyed Stone Island. Exit the pier drop off and go left on the sidewalk. About a half mile walk along truckers who are waiting in line to drop or pick up their loads at the pier. They were all friendly, hard working men. No problems. At the end of the sidewalk you need to hit the sand path (about 30 yards) and you will find the water taxi dock. Another walk (about 50 yards to the beach where you will find food and fun. Nice place to get away from it all and enjoy yourself.
  3. Last year my wife and I got day passes to the Hilton. Minutes from the Pier $2 each for a taxi van. The cost was $56 or $58 each, so it's not cheap. For that you get a all you can eat lunch, all the drinks you want and use of their resort (pool, beach, towels, chairs ect. To get back to the pier we had Hilton call us a cab. Nice resort, safe and relaxing.
