There is one craps table and I have not been in a few months to comment on the 6/5 BJ. It was 3/2 when I was there last.
-
on the Aug 9th sailing, they allowed me to get to apps but I passed on the salad. I did think the desserts in the steakhouse were lacking. The desserts in MDR were much better.
-
The shrimp cocktail is still there with the 5 small skrimps.
-
It is the American table. We got off the Liberty a week ago. You order your own sides, because most the entrees do not come with them. It also gives you an upgraded menu option to add steaks from the steakhouse for $20. The food was the best I have had during my 10 years of cruising.
-
I loved the new menu on the Liberty. I hope all the ships go to it. A few less options but the quality was there.

Back a few days from the Liberty. It has the hottest craps table I have seen. I was able to make over 4K in 2 sessions there. Multiple shooters were hot. It seemed like each shooter had the dice for 30 + mins. I doubt I will ever have a run like I did, $40 into $1870 and $200 into $2780.

Well.....
Since the Legend will be coming up to Alaska In the summer. The Miracle will be doing 7 night Mexican Riviera Cruises from Long Beach.
What I don't understand is that they need 3 year-round ships in Galveston. There's better business in Tampa and the Med.
So why don't they send the Freedom, which will be extra and has all of the new bells and whistles over to Long Beach? They surely have the business there to fill a big ship, and with it being new, they would win all the competition. Or have the Freedom replace the Dream and the Dream go over to Long Beach. I would actually look into it.
That leaves Miracle. Miracle could sail from Tampa on the same cruises the Legend did, or do an 6/8 night basis, where Carnival brings back the Costa Rica/Panama itinerary.
Or......
The Miracle could spend part of the year cruising through the Med. Carnival needs a ship out there, wither doing 7 night roundtrip Barcelona or 9/12 night cruises from there. Miracle would be perfect for that market. The spirit class ships are great, especially for a more intimate cruise experience. And the West Coast and Australia need to stop hogging them! But Baltimore needs to keep the Pride. I read somewhere that the Pride never sailed below 90% full, and that's only on a rare occasion that the number aren't between 95-100%
But I would love to see Carnival open their eyes and start expanding their businesses. Sorry for any Galveston people, but do you know how much airfare is into Hobby or Intercontinental?? and the airports are far. The itineraries aren't worth the 4 hour flight. It's cheaper for me to get to LAX! I don't know, but in my personal opinion, Magic and Triumph are fine by themselves in Galveston. Give up the Freedom to the West and the Miracle to the East!!!
Texas can get higher prices than the Florida ports. I just flew to Orlando for the Liberty and my flight, cabin and car service was cheaper than cruising from Galveston.

Taxi Tours
in Aruba
there will be 5 of us. I appreciate the information. It should be a good day next week.

Taxi Tours
in Aruba
thank you, that sounds reasonable

What would it cost to rent a Taxi for 2-3 hours for an island tour in Curacao? I don't like the group tours. I had great tours like this in Grand Cayman and St Maarten. They were about $100 plus a tip for the 3 hour tour. Could I expect about the same?

Taxi Tours
in Aruba
I have rented taxis in several ports for 2-3 hour tours. what kind of price could I expect in Aruba for the same type service?

Is luggage express available on the Liberty in Port Canaveral? I am traveling with a child and two seniors and I will have to be handling all the luggage. I hope that they offer it.

With you sailing on a casino rate, they will most likely say that is your perk. It has happened on my last couple of casino rate cruises. I booked the Aug 9th trip on the Liberty and they only offered $25 in casino cash. Carnival comps are a joke.
-
you will need to get 1000 points. A point equals $2.50 in play on slots and $5.00 in play on video poker. No idea how they do the points on the table games.
-
What a joke!
After 3 cruises in 2013, with 3000 plus points on slots each cruise and 4-8 hours a day of $25-50 a hand BJ, They offer $25 in casino cash. This cruise on the Liberty may be my last as NCL is coming to Houston.

Not anywhere close to 99 days, the 14 days I have will move so slowly.
-
Does the Liberty have the Waterworks or just the slide?

Hope a smoking ban in the casino is next
Sent from my iPhone using Forums
Without the smoke, I would never leave the casino.

It is true. You would still have to transport it through Texas.

I have made the 930am flight at MIA. Being group one helps. I always book the 11:15 or noon flight to Dallas, but American has allowed me to move up to the earlier flight because they always over sell those flights from 11-3. Last cruise from POM we were at the airport by 8am.

should the government force the cruise lines to post cruise fares the same as they are making airlines? This is with all the mandatory fees shown as the cost of the trip.

You can have multiple devices on the same account but only one logged in at a time. I had one account and we used 2 phones, IPAD and a laptop on the one account.

Our son only drinks soy milk. The Magic, Valor and Conquest had soy milk. It was easy to get in the MDR for breakfast and our waiter would bring a couple gases at dinner to take back to the room. Other times than in the MDR, I was able to purchase it at the atrium bar or coffee bar for around $2.00. I may of spent $12.oo during the week on it, but it was much easier than carrying it on board.

thanks
