I’m in Canada now for a brief visit with family before the cruise. CBP didn’t even check our ArriveCAN when we went through customs.

For embarkation, is the requirement only that traveler information (passport & vaccination) be entered into the app? Then for disembarkation, the ArriveCAN form needs to be completed? It’s not logical to complete a form when all questions are about arriving, not leaving.

Canada policy is that Celebrity has to pay for 5 days of quarantine.

I obviously thought the tag was something more "official" rather than a fancy way of associating a number to your bag!

eDocs are incorrect. I was hopeful that it could be sorted out when we board and it sounds like that’s a reasonable expectation. I guess show up without luggage tags then?

We changed our cruise cabin after final payment, and then went to check in. The stateroom on the luggage tags is the OLD cabin, but the boarding pass has the NEW cabin. what should we do to make sure our luggage gets to us smoothly? I’ve contacted the TA, but wondered if this was common or not?

I just did. I very well may be overly optimistic, but I think several things were NOT in the favor of the Hawaii sailing. 1 - ship newly in service, the crew were BOUND to pass covid along to each other if covid was introduced on board. 2 - lots of sea days with likely indoor/close quarter activities My hope is that the crew will have made it to the other side of this wave of infections, masking on the May 15 sailing should help, different itinerary that's overall shorter and less sea days (maybe not with shortened port times). Add to that the 7 day drydock, I'm hopeful the ship will be in a good spot for 5/29 sailing. Fingers crossed! I'm hopeful, with reasonable precautions, we're able to have an enjoyable cruise!
