  1. I need a little help or clarification. I originally was going to fly free with Southwest from Kansas City to Seattle then I pay ez air from Seattle to Anchorage using Alaska Airlines. I paid $718 for that last portion of flight for the wife and I. I have 10 days before I fly out for Coral Princess Cruise. I checked ez air and found a flight for the same price from Kansas City to Anchorage. That’s Alaska Airlines. So I was trying to see and Princess website says a $448dollar change fee. Now price is $508. So I will pay 508 and 448? Could you explain to me? See pictures. By the way I haven’t purchased or modified the flight yet.
  2. This question is for Alaska cruisers and birdwatcher enthusiasts. I am getting ready to purchase Bushnell H2O Waterproof/Fogproof Roof Prism Binocular 8x42. I’m mainly using this to see wildlife, whale watching and the like. After I’m done with Alaska Cruise, I will be using these for looking out on the lake that I live waterfront on. Does anyone have this binoculars or know if this is a good kind?? Reviews says it’s good. Thank you!
  3. Truthfully my wife is just tickled pink about going on our 3rd cruise (Alaska; Coral) and 4th in February (NCL East Caribbean, again). She said whatever I get is a blessing. 🙂
  4. Yes I know it’s a mini suite. In the post above yours I said suite. My bad. I know it’s a mini.
  5. Can I see out the windows?? If so, then I’m fine with it. 🙂
  6. @fishywood I am just elated to get in a suite. Granted it is all the way forward. I’ve always been midship, but I’m willing to try new things. If I don’t like it, I won’t repeat it. I’d like to think I’m the kinda guy who likes to say “don’t knock it until you’ve tried it.” This will be my 25th wedding anniversary gift for my wife. She grew up dirt poor and since we’ve been together, she has seen a LOT of the U.S. and all of the Caribbean.
  7. @fishywood I originally was in F504 which used to be a part if the casino on Coral. They added cabins so the cabins have the large picture windows. I asked my travel agent for more information. She stated it was ocean view mini suite. No balcony. I was fine with that. Now the 8 mini windows, can you elaborate on that?? Thank you.
  8. Maybe we could meet! I’ll be in C203!
  9. We go Alaska Southward this coming June 19-26.
  10. As the title says, I initially paid for a Fiesta deck ocean view on Coral Princess. Got an offer from the Cruiseline through my travel agent to upgrade to a mini suite. My agent said it was very well worth it because I’d be saving substantially from what I paid. So, I WAS midship deck 5, but now at the very front on deck 10. It is C203 oceanview mini suite. Anyone know how much more room, perks and whatnots I’d be expecting? Pictures or videos?? I know on deck 10 (caribe) I can walk straight back to aft and go through the employees only doors to go in the “observation deck” that is semi private. Thank y’all.
  11. Forgive me if this isn’t the RIGHT place but I AM going on Coral Princess. I will I’ll be arriving at SeaTac (Seattle) by Southwest. I will need to claim my bags as I’ll be getting on Alaska Airlines on a separate ticket. My question is: when I arrive, I of course will go get my bags at the bag carousel. When I do, how do I turn back around and gain “entry” from the bag carousel area? I know I’ll need to go to Alaska Airlines desk and then security and then the gate. How do I get THERE from the bags carousel? I’ve only hopped on another flight with the same ticket before in Seattle. This will be a first for me. My flight from Southwest arrives 11:05 am and Alaska Airlines is 2:40 pm the same day. Thank you.
  12. Maybe we’ll run into each other @Schti!
  13. @bobbismith 80 days for me! Guess I’ll be getting on while you get off??
  14. I just told my travel agent what I was going to do to get to Anchorage and then told her “get me to the ship.” She May have just went ahead and added the Princess transport fee onto my package price. It was only then I found out (my fault) that I needed transport from Vancouver to Seattle.
