  1. I live in Houston so Galveston is thr easiest for my husband and I.We have been on the Magic three times out and done their three itinerarys.Caymen islands, Jamaica, cozamel, Belize Roaton Cozomel and Key West, Nassau. They cannot go any further to other islands because it takes too long and and they only have seven days so thr ports will never be different. We took the Breeze out of Miami last year to go to some different ports.I think the Vista looks like a great ship and should go out of Miami so she is not limited to these ports and can have better itinerarys.

  2. I live in Houston and we have taken the Magic three times out of Galveston but went on the Breeze out of Miami in January to go to some different islands.I think the Vista would be wasted going to Belize Roaton and Cozamel or Key West , Nassau or Caymen Islands, Jamaica. I hope she goes to Miami because they are able to go to more islands from there.Galveston is limited because of the distance. Its a tradeoff. I can drive to Galveston but I would rather go through the hassle of flying and go to better places.

  3. My husband and I are in our mid fifties and have cruised on the Magic several times and once on the Breeze. We are thinking of going on Oceania Riviera because it goes to different ports like St.Barts.It is more expensive which would br fine if it is a great experience. Has anyone been on both and what is the difference? Food, service, size of cabins ect.I was very happy with thr Magic and the Breeze .I live in Houston so we need air and oceana says it is included.

  4. My husband and I are in our mid fifties and we have cruised on thr carnival Magic and the Breeze several times because carnival leaves out of Galveston and we live in Houston. We are thinking of going on thr oceania riviera from Miami fot trn days to Gustsvia the D.R. snd dome other ports on January 23.Is there anything to do after dinner or is it mostly older people who retire early? We like good resturants but like to do something after dinner.A show, or listen to music. The ship looks amazing .My husband is swiss and is an avid tennis player and I see that they have a table tennis court. Is it used much?

  5. My mother and sister are going on the Magic out of Galveston Sunday on the Caymen , Jamaica cruise, My mother is 86 and cannot walk very far so they are taking a wheelchair. What things can she do on the ship that do not require a lot of mobility besides sit in front of the slot machines.I have been on the ship twice and I saw people in chairs. What about in Grand Cayman? They have faster to the fun.

  6. I am trying to decide between an eight day cruise on the sunshine or the Breeze.I have been on the Breeze and liked it.What is the sunshine like compared to the Breeze. Is there a lot of wear and tear since it is an older ship.I hear that the serenity area is much larger with a waterfall. We spend a lot of time on that deck. One thing a I liked about the Breeze is that it was new.Would the sunshine seem dated compared to the Breeze? We are a couple in our forties traveling in January..Price is about the same sunshine about 300 dollars cheaper.

  7. My husband and I have been on the Magic out of Galveston three times and the Breeze from a miami once and loved both ships. There is a journey cruise out of New Orleans in January that sounds really good on the Dream. How is it compared to the Breeze and Magic? Does it seem dated or does it have a lot of wear and tear?

  8. We have done both the Belize Roaton cruise and the Caymen Islands and the weathrt was dry and sunny in the Caymens and humid and cloudy in Belize and Roaton Also mosquitos and there is not a beach to speak of.The eastern itinerary is so much bettrr.Even though wr live in Houston and it is much easier to drive to Galveston we flew to Miami to go on the Breeze to avoid that Belize Roaton. again.

  9. I see that the Breeze is coming to Galveston. As we live in Houston this is the best port forus but we have done both the Cayman, Jamaica run and the Belize Roaton.I know theym have key west Nassau but have been to both places .The Breeze is a great ship and it seems it is being wasted on these ports. Why dont they have better ports out of Galveston. We took thr Breeze out of Miami in January to Puerto Rico and Antigua and it was great.

  10. I have been on the Magic and the Breeze and have never done the chefs table. We go to a lot of dinners because my husband is involved in the wine business and this menu looks fantastic and very creative. On our next cruise we will do this and skip the excursion. For seventy five dollars a person this is a better deal

  11. My husband and are in our forties and live in Houston so Galveston is is thr most convenient port for us.We have been on the Magic three times and loved it and just returned from the eight day out of Miami to St.Thomas, San Juan on the Breeze snd loved that .I am thinking about the cruise on March 3 from Galveston to Cartagena for twelve days. How would the Triumph be after being on these other ships.Does it appear to be dated? Does anyone know anything about these ports? How do they compare to Antigua or St.Thomas? Or is it more like Belize and Roaton?

  12. We were just on the Breeze out of Miami on January 3 to Antigua, Puerto Rico, St John.We were never able to go to the serenity deck because every place was taken by 8.00 in the morning. We even saw some pillows up their one morning suggesting that people were sleeping there It was extremely windy. We went to the small pool at the back of the boat but you need to get there by nine or ten to get a chair.People started lining up for the comedy show about thirty minutes before it started. It is easy to navigate the boat. There are signs when you get off the elevator telling you what is on that deckShes a beautiful shipThe tasting bar is really good.

  13. We went to the steakhouse on the breeze two weeks ago.I loved the ahi appetizer. It was beautifully presented and so good that I wish that I had ordered two of thrm and skipped the steak. The bread is also wonderful I really like the atmosphere .I also went we were on the Magic. It is a nice change from communal dining

  14. We ate at the steakhouse on the Breeze. The steaks were okay but it was the ahi appitizer that was delicious.I wish that I had ordered two of those instead of the steak. It was pertectly prepared and the grade of the ahi I was excellent. It is a really nice experience to have dinner there.

  15. I have done both itrneraries on thr Magic.I loved Cayman, the beach snd the water are perfect for a small child and it is very american with shopping centers and good roads. In Jamaica go to doctors beach. It is about four dollars a person to enter and there arer familys with small children. It is close to where the ship docks. There is a good resturant there. As it is s private beach it is very safe. The ship docks in Belize city where there is nothing. You have to go to the other side of the island to find something to do.We went on a boat to Geoffs Cay and there is no beachI thought the beach in Roaton was ok but the beaches in California are much better. In short the Caymen itinerary is much better with a childI I was expecting this pretty blue water in Belize but it is grey.

  16. My husband and I are taking the Breeze out of Miami next Satruday. We are flying in from Houston on Friday afternoon and spending the nighr at a hotel because I was afraid if there were delays we could miss the ship if we flew in the morning of the cruise. There an early morning flight out of Houston that we could of taken.Has anyone ever missed the ship?
