Bermuda shorts are not National Dress even in Bermuda
Having lived in Bermuda for a number of years I can tell you that you are mistaken.

The on board credit is decided on four currencies. The US dollar, the euro, the pound, and the Australian Dollar. The exchange rate has nothing to do with it.

I have taken a full size case through - the lock got caught on the car as we were unloading, and it had some expensive stuff in it. We cleared it with the staff who said that it had to fit through the x ray machine, which it did with ease.

We were on one a few years ago - Henry Kelly was on the cruise with loads of other classical type people. There were quite a few events during the cruise, but I only went to one quiz - only because it was in the bar I wanted to drink in.

I fear that you may very well be right.
Absolutely deplorable behaviour. It now makes you wonder about jurisdiction and if there will be any legal consequences for those involved.
There is a group of CID officers at Southampton who have been sworn in as 'Reserve Constables' (same as UK Special Constables) in the Bermuda Police.

Perhaps the operational reasons are due to the restrictions on the lock which have been implemented until 2023 - the assumption that the new tax at Amsterdam is the sole reason the port has been changed may be wrong.
-
The fact that there are restrictions on the locks to gain access to Amsterdam seems to have gone right over your head - this is a lose lose situation.
-
So it is just after the overnight closure of the locks for the installation of the new larger lock which will be opened in 2023. There will be a backlog of traffic wanting to enter the canal, so it seems not having cruise ships using the locks ill ease this backlog, and also mean that having to change a port due to the weather will not happen.

Please remember that a medivac is a completley different thing to repatriation in the eyes of the insurance company.

Thank you

New to FO - I notice that The Grill on Balmoral is only open during nice weather. If it is not open - is the menu available elsewhere?

The disembarkation instructions for Southampton clearly state 23kg.

On Azura in July they did not appear until about 2 days before the end of the cruise and they did use up what was left of our OBC. We rather cynically thought that it was another penny pinching act by P&O because they didn't have to give us as much Peninsular Club discount as everything up to that point came out of our OBC.
Glad you are not my accountant

My bags weigh about 22kg - I have never had any problems - never seen collapsed baggage staff. I used to work with one of the handlers, and he thought it was a 23kg limit. And before you all start about how cruel i am - I will wait to be chastised by P&O rather than keyboard warriors.

I had problems phoning/requesting call backs etc. I then put a post on their Faceache site, and the problem was resolved in 5 hours.

I think the prices on the website are without VAT - if your trip does not visit a port outside the EU then VAT is added.

We had R616 which was under the buffet. No noise, but the overhang was a problem. We have now booked on B deck for the Jan 17 caribbean cruise

£20 a day when we last were on it. Obviously I cannot comment on it as I cannot see it as value for money. I'm sure someone will think differently.

From our experience it has now become a free for all at about 14,00hrs, and no regard is given to the time on the ticket

I think it was Peroni in the Crows Nest, but after a few my memory fades

If the tips go through the Carnival books then extras will have to be taken off leaving less for the staff. I am sure the staff receiving the tips will want as little a paper trail as possible.

If you go to a French island take some Euros - they rip you off by accepting dollars as one to one.

US travellers are being advised to enroll in the Department of State’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program whilst the problems continue
