  1. Well, I just thought it would be fun to see a bullfighting ring, but it's not something we have to do. It's hard to tell from Google maps where things are situated.

Anyway, thank you. I just wasn't sure if a walking tour or the hoho would be better for seeing things since we are there on a Sunday, and I'm not sure our ship will offer a shuttle so I was looking for the best way to get to town.

  2. Hi Roger,

Thank you so much for all of your very valuable information. We are looking at either doing the HOHO bus or a free walking tour. We thought the HOHO bus would allow us to see more - like the castle and get us closer to Plaza del Toros, but the walking tour might be nice as well. Which would you recommend? We are there on a Sunday, so we weren't sure how much would be open.

Also, if our ship doesn't offer a shuttle from Dique, how often does bus#1 stop, how much does it cost and is that the best way for a group of 6 traveling together to get to the center of town? Could we get a taxi for 6 easily?

    Thank you.

  3. From what I am reading on these boards, I'm thinking there is a shuttle from the ship to the port entrance and another from the port entrance to the train station. Is this correct? What is the cost?

    Thanks!

  4. Is the port shuttle designed to carry both passengers and their luggage? If so, how does it work? Is it loaded underneath or would we have to carry it on ourselves and make room for it in our seat or are their luggage racks like airport shuttles?

There are five ships in port the day we're there, so I'm assuming it will run about every 20 minutes from the time the other passengers disembark to the time our ships are ready to depart?

  5. Don't think I saw this one: the salmon bake at the lido poolside on our Alaska cruise. Best, freshest salmon I ever had. The only problem is, the bake is too close to dinner so I couldn't eat as much of it as I'd have liked to! Yummy.
