Just been informed in the last 30 mins that our 23rd Sept cruise on the sky princess is cancelled  - disappointed 😒

We’re book on 23/9/21 from Southampton - really not sure if this will go ahead but hoping we  can get vaccines and be set should all be ok

You make a valid point , however have all the crew not been at sea for the past for at least 5-6 months ..?

not 100% sure how it all works but just a thought , these staff/crew members should have in affect been “isolating” 

We have just booked for Sept 23rd on the sky princess something  to look forward to....  

we’re in the UK and yes there are rising cases but as long as you follow the rules /guidelines hopefully all will be fine by the spring 2021 - vaccines are imminent we are told 

We fly into Florida on Wednesday and cruise on FOS Sunday, likely hood is I will unpack and repackage when we get to Florida as won't want dresses and dinner suits/ shirts creasing any more than they need to.

We too cruise on 2/3 so looking forward to this cruise 1st time on FOS and with RCCL

Do they "RCI" expect to make money if you can't order things like birthday cakes / decorations. Customer service is shocking!!

Well said , i believe you pay a good price you expect good quality of food and service to go with it, i must say this is my 1st time sailing With RCL and the menus are shocking compared to princess of costa,just by looking at menus they offer a better variety.

Someone mentioned in a forum that in the MDR they bring veggies covered in butter is this the case, I'm allergic to certain dairy products Butter being one of them .

Oh yes, its still in its box, I will probably take it out and wrap in bubble wrap and then wrap in a beach towel and place in a carrier bag :)

Yes we are flying from the UK , we have already got a VERY nice bottle of champagne to take with us in our luggage.

Noticed in a recent thread that you can take Wine on board at a limit per cabin.

Can anyone tell me if this is the case ? And is it just Wine.

Were travelling as a family of 8 and have too looked at the wine package for dinner in MDR, however noticing when looking at the other beverage packages if you purchase the select and above package you get 20% off Wine.

I think on working this out it is substantially cheaper than purchasing the wine package, your also not tied to a certain range of wine.

Hope this helps for anyone considering the package.

I'm forgetting the wine, Bring on the strawberry daiquiri . :o

Sailing on the freedom of the seas for my mother and father-in-law's 60th wedding anniversary. Do FOS do speciality cakes for anniversaries and if so how much. Does anyone have a picture?

Are you guys saying that if my DH wants the package with the beer (select package) i have to have it too even though i was going to go for the package with the mocktails soda etc (Royal replenish) ?

My parents In Law celebrate their Diamond Anniversary Whist were cruising and I would love an announcement to be made on the show.

You might be better trying to take a phone with wireless connection off the ship, you can usually pick up free internet in ports but as for the ship its all chargeable as far as i'm aware.

Can anyone tell me do they do smoothies on board the FOS?

Having looked at a few sample menu's fro a few years ago it seems that FOS /RCI tend to serve a lot of Fish/Seafood dishes.

I'm not a big lover of Fish and on recent Princess cruises I have found that the menus have much more variety.

Yes I could just go to the buffet but we are are travelling as a group of 8 and are booked for dining in MDR.

I understand that they have broiled chicken and Angus Steak everyday but does not seem to be an awful lot of variety other the fish on main menu.

Has anyone got a recent sample menu that states otherwise??
