Managed to access app after resetting password, which was the same as the original one.

People on another social media site have discussed this at length and have phoned and emailed the US embassy and the advice is that if you have travelled to Cuba since January 2021 then you need a full visa. Prior to that date then an Esta is sufficient.

Good morning. The shower is a cubicle with a sliding door.
-
We were in a standard balcony cabin on deck 8 midships. We were near the library and lifts and water fountain. Very quiet.

There are roll calls for Marella cruises. Its not Tui cruises.
-
Look on Facebook for info about cabins

I would say the food is good. The buffet doesn't compare to celebrity, I find it hard to keep to a small plate on there. We ate in Kora la on discovery 2 and that was lovely. We have only ate in Quisine on celebrity which was very interesting. It is very difficult to compare food because everyone has differing tastes and experiences.
The itineraries are fabulous on marella and they are good value for money. There are very few extras to pay for unless you want to upgrade the drinks package or choose your cabin.

We cruised with Thomson as it was then about 10years ago on their smaller ships. They were our first ones. Then we were fortunate to cruise with celebrity and have done 4 with them and a couple on Royal Caribbean. Went back to marella in March because of the itinerary and going on Explorer on Saturday. The bigger marella ships compare favourably with the others but not quite the wow factor.

The visa will be in your cabin

Yes it was lovely. The weather was very good. Sea was calm. Highly recommend oldcartours for Havana and the ship's excursion for Panama canal. My review is on this site.
-
We were on board 6th March for Cuban fusion and pride of Panama.
-
We never had a problem getting a sunbed at the back of the ship. We didn't get up at the crack of dawn either.
-
Sit at back of ship deck 10 near climbing wall and mini golf.

Hi we received an email from Tui stating the changes. We are in Cozemel overnight.
-
We are on 6th March Cuban fusion cruise and our stopover in Havana is reduced. We sail at 0100hrs instead of early afternoon because too many ships.

You should access the marella Facebook page to get up to date reviews. Lots of tips and advice.

We went to Alaskan in May 2017. This was our first Regent cruise. As soon as excursions came live on line we booked them. We got on all the ones we wanted to do. We were in the basic cabins but had no problem. Very few children on board then. Weather was fantastic. As you say it is a holiday of a lifetime so planning is important. Enjoy.

I think southendweather that you have to do individual esta's.

We did an Alaskan cruise in May this year and we needed to have an Esta. Luckily it will cover us for Puerto Rico in March.
-
Hi just thought I would let you know that I have started a Roll Call for this cruise. Hopefully will get some other fellow cruisers on it.

Please don't be put off doing an Alaskan cruise. It is an amazing destination to visit. There are other cruise lines who go there. Who knows after the refit next year things may be different. Also your taste may be different to ours. Everybody is different and what suits you may not suit me. We combined our cruise with the Rockie Mountaineer which was an amazing experience. It is not a cheap holiday and you have to do your research. There are sometimes some seminars from cruise agents where you can see a presentation and ask questions.

Hi again. Not sure how to share a link, but have found my review on Page 3 of Mariner reviews entitled Not 6 star.
We found that most of the passengers have only cruised with this cruise line and have earned many points which give them perks. There wasn't very much atmosphere in the bars and they weren't very busy. I got the impression most passengers stayed in their cabins and drank in there.
We were disappointed with the service in Compass Rose and the quality of wine on offer in the restaurants.
Don't get me wrong, we are not cruise snobs, we have cruised with Thomson, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity and generally choose a cruise for the itinerary, but just found Regent a bit too stuffy.

Hello. We did this cruise in May this year. You can ask your cabin steward for any spirit you want in your cabin and I think you can ask for wines and champagne when you want them. The whole ship is all inclusive, so there shouldn't be a problem with any request.
This was our first Regent cruise and was done like you for the all inclusive aspect. We were in a basic balcony cabin which was adequate for our needs.
We have done other cruise lines, but no river cruises. We wouldn't choose to cruise with Regent again, as it wasn't quite our cup of tea!. I did write a review.

Hi. We are on the ship 13th March. I have only looked at Panama Canal trip so far, and looking at length of the excursion, we have decided to book a Thomson one, hopefully, so that we don't have to worry about getting back to ship on time. Have you looked at anything else yet?
