  1. Absolutely!

For me it wasn't so much the memories wearing off as going back to work and most of my coworkers resenting the fact that I went on a cruise and they didn't. GEH! I work to hard to pay for someone else to go on a cruise, they wanna go, we'll carpool that's it.

About a week back at work and I'll be looking back on CCL for my next escape from that place.

But now I quit there due to that, and this time DH is paying for the cruise. Now I'll be able to see how long the contentment lasts after I get back without bickering co-workers to drag me down.

Though I think it'll be easier, because by about day two-three of the cruises I really start to miss my dogs, so I am always happy to come home to them.

  2. You'll see this cross posted in the other two ports that we'll be stopping in at, just so you know.

We'll be leaving end of February, and Montego Bay is one of the stops. I'd really love to do what I did last cruise, and bring back a couple of "Can't get it in the states" extra yummy drinks that are indigenous to the area.

Example: We brought back two bottles of Ron del Barrilito from San Juan, and two bottles of Bambarra Rum from Grand Turk.

So what should I be looking for, and where can I get it?

Thank you everyone for your help, and sorry if this has been an-asked-100's-of-times question.

  5. I only have one account, since I try to avoid customer service as much as possible (I can't deal with conflicts).

Long story short, due to lack of sunscreen I wasn't going on a shore excursion that I had booked. This was brought to the shore excursion desk less than 24 hours before we were to arrive in said port. Which according to their policy equals NO refund. But me, being in agonizing pain decided to ask anyway. They gave me a 75% refund without any issue.

I think Carnival should keep up with what they're doing, except they need to make the comedy rooms larger.
