NORTHSTAR - See recommendation above, send a designated "line spot holder" and you are all set.
I'm sorry to disagree with you, but this is just wrong for the Northstar, Bumper Cars or anything else you need to wait in line for. To me it's just as bad as being a chair hog, or saving seats in the theater. It shouldn't be allowed.
I was on Quantum twice, with a third coming up in April. Twice when I was waiting for north star, thinking I only had a 20 - 30 minute wait, from the number of people standing in line, it was increased to over an hour. This was all because of what you just recommended to do. It's not fair. If you want to ride you should wait like everyone else.
Agreed. And until people start obeying all the rules, none will be followed. I'll be dammed if I let someone in front of me do that.

Sometimes it just seems like most of the issues on cruise critic are very nit picky......is this that big of an issue???
Yes, and I hate those newfangled horseless carriages, give me my mule any day. And not to mention those pesky airplanes, telephones, and oh, air conditioning? Please, gimme the gold old days!
Yours truly,

Simple, RCL when taking the reservation 'should have' told them the rule against the child in the pullman! (Why isn't it described before hand?)
That doesn't take a mind reader, just common sense!

We haven't cruised Royal since 2012 & I'm trying to figure out if I should wear my hair for my Seapass photo or not. Do they ask you to remove your hat when re-boarding the ship like NCL does?
You have to take the hat off but you can leave your hairpiece on[emoji145]

Booked for our 1st RCC cruise on the Anthem for June.
What is Dynamic Dining?
Also I have trawled though the threads & some posters are asking can they book shows before sailing, again what is this about? Thought you just turned up for them.
Maybe be I have a lot to learn regarding RCC.
Thank you.
I think you are referring to DYNAMITE DINING. It's when you toss dynamite into a cruise ship and blow up everyone's concept of eating, and make the passengers do all the work[emoji12]

if you want to see the "real Walking Dead", come on the easter cruise on Quantum. There will 2 of us. 1st Battalion 9th Marines. We are the "Real Walking Dead". If you are interested in the military, do a google search for us.
will be on the lookout for ya!

Any chance they'll show the 90 minute episode of The Walking Dead somewhere on the ship this Sunday?
Isn't that what we cal the old folks who complain about the dress code?

Agree completely! Thanks to the OP for the heads up. They have been very relaxed about the dress code and my DH has worn nice golf shorts on a number of occasions.
What we feel about the dress code is meaningless - but I must say, the fact that old jeans, sweatpants and baseball caps are allowed in the MDR just doesn't make sense.
Maybe by encouraging more formal dress we might even see this!
I think it conforms

What seems to be a nice effect is if someone doesn't like my clothes, i suddenly and unexpectedly develop some intestinal ummmmm...discomfort....
When released., they seem to forget about my shorts [emoji103]

I will wear jeans or whatever I want and wills never let another passenger tell me what to wear. When they stop the chair pigs, I'll pay attention to the dress code rules
-
No, keep the dress code and enforce only this rule. No other rule needs to be enforced.
Yours truly,
The annoying woman who saves a row of seats in the theater, her fat husband who wakes up at 7am to save 12 seats at the pool between donuts, and their unadorable kids running through the solarium.

I agree. It's about time that they start enforcing the dress code in the dining room for dinner. I am tired of seeing shorts and baseball caps.
When they start enforcing chair pig rules, I'll turn my cap in. Until then, deal with it
Dress code question.
