I thought the check in is so fast now. So why should you have to wait to board. It isn't like you have to wait for the bus anymore. Once you step on the ship you are on vacation. So the unfortunate folks who have a later boarding time lose hours off of their vacation. That certainly is not fair. Just my opinion ;)
Completely agree. I arrive when I want. If they give me a problem, I suddenly develop some ummmmm..."intestinal rumbling." That usually clears the room and I get ushered on[emoji103][emoji372]

So if DH is in the restroom I can't save him a seat?
That's not saving a seat. That's a guy going to the bathroom. Saving a seat, or more likely, 10 seats is when a big haired wide body plants herself in the best row, and keeps looking back toward the entrance waving her hands and screaming "ovah heah, hon!" But hey, rules, we don't need no stinking rules

So, you equate me saving a seat for my wife at the show with kids running up and down the hall knocking on doors? Although, to be fair, knocking on doors wouldn't likely be the cause of a health issue for anyone. The topic of this thread could easily help spread a disease.
OK, I guess I don't feel so bad for not understanding.
Tom
Precisely. Annoying selfish people can be a health hazard. Let me count the ways.... And no saving seats....it's the rule, just like the water bottle rule

Don't get me started on the ignorant & inconsiderate fools that don't stow their supermarket karts in the bins provided. They just leave them there in the parking lots blocking future parking. I see red every time I go to WalMart.
The folks who read & ignore signs on the no-refilling bottles are ignorant, inconsiderate, or both.
To be sure, I've been ignorant in many times, but I hope that I'm not inconsiderate - or both.
Why, you don't find it adorable when someone else's cart scratches your car?[emoji379]

I don't understand how this relates. What good would this do anyone?
Tom
Not sure what your point is.. My point was to show some equally selfish and rude behavior

My point is that Rccl Prices are growing to fast, nothing more or nothing less and by the Way Denmark is in Scandinavia NOT in Germany.
I was referring to Denmark's heroic stand against the Germans in ww2. Ummmm never mind

1100 $ cheaper Another example Norwegian Jade 14 day Cruise in april from Rome 4800 $ 700 $ cheaper..
Hey dude I don't know what your point is. You can always find something cheaper. Take whatever cruise you want; its a free country....at least mine is. There aren't any Germans still marching around your neighborhood are there?[emoji379][emoji378]

Carnival Vista (newest and most expensive ship) 13 days from Trieste/Italy in a balcony cabin 4400 $ how is that?
Seems about right. One day less than royal and a grand less.

Anyway the smaller and older ships is also gone skyhigh, almost 5500 $ for a Cruise with Explorer from Southampton to med. 14 days 2 in a balcony cabin thats too much.
Krydstosser
From Denmark

Let's see now for $1.5 billion we've got:
Creakiest ship I've ever been on
A/C issues
Icy liquid developing on the frame of my sliding balcony door
Whistling sound in the Solarium, even though windows closed
Tsunami floods from the kiddie pools when the ship rocks
Dynamic Dining disaster for some folks. Although I enjoyed it as I had
reservations
Can't wait for the reviews from current Pax .
What else is in store for this proud ship.
Wah wah boo hoo [emoji81][emoji81]

Tonight is probably the absolute highlight of the entertainment on this cruise. Truly, this has to be the pinnacle of the long tradition of the show while at sea. After a wonderful dinner, my wife and I are seated in the Royal Theater, soaking in the vibrant buzz of hundreds of cruisers in anticipation of...
a puppet show.
Is that the "guest entertainer"?

This thread is getting ridiculous. The ships don't want your old clothes, they also have limited trash capacity. If you intend to throw it out, do so after you leave
I usually bring old pencils and pens and some dead roses from last spring. Also if I have time I bring some empty beer cans and some used tissues if they're kinda dry

My fiance and I will be taking the Navigator on RCCL this September for our Honeymoon. It will be my 3rd cruise and DF's 1st. I'm wondering if we should dine with other cruisers in the main dining room or get a table for just ourselves.
On my previous cruises, I sat at a table with others and it was a lot of fun, but since we will be on our honeymoon, we will probably want to do some of the specialty restaurants and maybe even decide to "Stay in" for dinner and get room service. So with that said, I'm thinking maybe a table for 2 in the main dining room would be better, since we will miss a few nights?
What do you think? What have you done?

Don't ever test that ice bucket or the tap for bacteria or you'll get sick. Both are really gross
