  1. Some years ago, a friend and I had spend the day out in port. There were two Princess ships in port that day (I don't remember now which ones). Upon our return to the ship, we were busy laughing and chatting as we went through several checkpoints and it wasn't until we were ready to board that someone looked closer at our cards and realized we were about to get on the wrong ship! We sure had a good laugh but when security found out out far we had gotten, they were not the least bit amused and after that all cards were carefully checked.

  3. I've stayed in E108 and our friends were in E110, an even larger balcony.
  4. Maybe the odd numbered side got the new mattresses first.
  5. I just got off the Royal this morning. Worst beds ever in E108! Felt like I was sleeping on an old box spring!

    Eggs

The omelettes on my recent Ruby cruise left something to be desired. The egg was flat and thin as a crepe, stuffed with pre-cooked ingredients. I requested omelettes made from cracked eggs and fresh ingredients which were much better. They will make fried eggs without bacon grease if requested.
  7. I just got off the Ruby Saturday. We also had the new menu on the Ruby in April this year but there was a different executive chef. I was in love with the food on the April cruise but not so much on this one. Same entrées prepared differently, vegetables were mushy. Lack of butter was not an issue and we all loved the pesto olive oil. Gone were the cheese spreads that were brought to the table in lieu of butter on Ruby in April. Also new, the "fresh" omelettes were made with liquid eggs, thin as a crêpe and filled with pre-cooked vegetables.
  8. Just got off the Ruby this morning. The ships were a stunning sight last night walking back from the port of Victoria.
  9. So sorry for your loss. I lost my boy of almost 16 years last month and know how hard it is. Congrats on your wonderful upgrade!
  10. We completed a 10 day Mexico in April and I felt no motion at all but I was toward the aft. I am booked in E108 on the Royal in April, many people love these cabins and I've never read any complaints.
  11. We hired Arturo Martinez Tours, check out the reviews on Trip Advisor. We spent about four or 4 1/2 wonderful hours with him. He took us to the ruins which are quite small, but he was able to explain in detail everything we were looking at. All the other visitors were crowding around him trying to hear. He took us everywhere, stopped frequently and best of all took us to an amazing place for lunch we would never have found on our own. Highly recommend.
