Yes, I had the response nothing available unless I change and put 2 into test. And there is available rooms. Same thing happened with a cruise finding site.

I am taking a "memorial" Atlantic Crossing on Cunard and prefer to dine alone (I have a confirmed table for two). I realize another solo might be seated with me--but I can handle that.
My question is: if I am dining alone would it be acceptable if I were to read while dining? I've cruised quite a bit but not on Cunard (and never alone), and I accept that this line has protocols other may not.
Thank you.
I also cruise solo. When I was on the Queen Mary I had a table for 2.i had my kindle, solitaire and people watching to occupy my time. They would not bring a random person to your 2 person assigned table.

You can usually find a good deal after the 90 day final payment has passed.

It was nice that solos celebrated my bday with drinks, dinner, singing and a bracelet. This was my cruise from Copenhagen.

I frequently cruise ncl and over my last 2 week cruise I ate dinner with the group about 4 times. I had drinks with them maybe 5 Times. No one drags you to dinner. You show up or you don’t. It is a nice option. On Regal Princess I had my own table for two for just me in the evenings. I did the same on the Queen Mary. I have sat on RCCL and X at a table for 8 and it would be only me or 1 non talking couple. Uncomfortable. I like my own table unless I travel with a group.

I just returned from a TA from Copenhagen to Miami and I was fortunate I had brought my EmergenC and Sambucol to ward off a bad cold. I did get the cold but it wasn’t as miserable as it could have been. I also had Benadryl for sleep and to help with secretions. I did buy cough drops in Bermuda. Lots of people had colds.
I also had the cold medicine that you put in hot water and sip but could only tolerate 2 doses, ugh!

We loved our Free Walking Tour. It hit almost all the main spots of Copenhagen and gave us ideas of where we wanted to go on later days. We used the hop on hop off to get us to the sites that were a bit far for walking for later days. Public transportation in Copenhagen was good, but it is something of a slog from the bus stop to Ocean Kaj. We used a flat rate taxi. It might have been slightly cheaper to go metered, but there's always a risk of the meter running in a traffic jam.

How do you get a flat rate taxi?
The free walking tour sounds like a great idea.
Thank you,
Gwen

That is very simple, get on bus 26 towards Færge terminal Søndre Frihavn from either Trommesalen, the central station (Vesterbrogade stop) or town hall square.
Here you continue to Østerport station and either take bus 25 from the Folke Bernadottes Allè bus stop at Østerport or the Østerport station bus stop for bus 27.
Very useful information.

You're right--the Cabinn Metro is not close to attractions such as Tivoli, Nyhavn, Stroget, or Rosenborg Palace. The public transportation in Copenhagen is very good, so there's likely to be a way for you to get into "touristy" Copenhagen from that hotel, but wouldn't you rather just be able to walk?
For a budget-friendly hotel that's within walking distance of the afore-mentioned sights, look at the Wakeup Hotel Borgegade. We stayed there a couple years ago and were able to walk to these tourist sites. It's also close to bus and Metro lines so we used public transportation to get from the airport to this hotel and from the hotel to Oceankaj.
It is reassuring to see that my hotel wakeup Borgegade is fairly centrally located. I was concerned about getting to the port on sail day. Do the buses run on Sunday? Would it be better to make my way to the airport and then pay to take the ships shuttle or a taxi?
Any tours anyone can recommend?

Here is a question. I am traveling alone and I have a balcony booked on a cruise (not leaving anytime soon) do you think they would offer a bid to someone traveling in a balcony room (BA) alone or do you think they would make offers to couples / multi travelers in a room? And is there really any need for a single traveler to try to get a Haven room? A spa suite would be nice.
You submit your bid say for $400 and if it is accepted you owe $800. The bid is for 2 people. So, if you don't want to pay more than $400 you bid $200.

I'm there with you. I've never eaten in the MDR. This time I signed up for your time dining and I may get there right when they open and see if I can get a table for one. But I'm not going to a table for 10 with 9 people I don't know. I'll be in the buffet if that's my only option.

I get a table for 2 usually by the window in the mdr, it hasn't been a problem.
