Thank you SO much - the was exactly what I was looking for from our FL experts 😍

Thanks for your replies - here is the list on the QLS site. I also really want to confirm which hotels to NOT go to - BlueHerons, you've given some great advice in your posts - I don't want to reserve a spot for the newlyweds that is dangerous.
"There are many hotels located near the Fort Lauderdale Airport. Here are some of the most commonly visited. If you think your hotel is within 3 miles from the FLL Airport but don't see it on this list, please call our office so we can verify."

Thanks for your quick reply - Embassy isn't on QLS's list of hotel drop offs :(
-
Oops - late twenties ;);)
-
Honeymooners debark in Miami - they are flying home the next day from FLL. I've got them on the QLS shuttle and they will drop off at a hotel within 3 miles of FLL. Looks like most of the hotels that 'qualify' are south of the airport in the Dania area. I'm trying to find a hotel with a pool, cocktail service would be great, within walking distance of a restaurant and shuttle to airport. Does such a hotel exist? They are early twenties eeking one more day of their honeymoon ;)
-
So, I'm guessing they will offer more than the normal 3, 5, 7 bottle packages on an 11 day cruise. Does anyone know or better yet, have the list of what wines are included in the packages? Thanks - love my wine 🍷

This is what our plan is gonna be - bus up to Arashi and then slowly work our way south. My concern is what do we do with our stuff if we both want to get in the water to snorkel?
-
That's a bummer D - seems pretty childish!!
I'm actually doing these for my daughter and her soon to be husband and their cruise. I'm hoping to put them in an envelope and ask the cruise director to slap them on - fingers crossed. Can you imagine the look on their faces when they see pics of themselves, honeymoon stuff etc etc? Hope it works out.
We've usually been in aft cabins so it's pretty quiet back there and not a lot of traffic. When I have done them, especially when we sailed with lots of other couples we never had a problem.
SEE YOU SOON!!! :D

Any recent cruisers know if the aft balcony cabins have magnetic doors to throw some magnets on them? Or even if the top portion of the door is magnetic?

Need transportation from a wedding on Bradenton Beach to a honeymoon cruise sailing from Miami.
Looks like best option would be to rent a car at Sarasota airport but where is best place to drop off (and what company).
It's almost looking like airport to airport and then shuttle from MIA to Port is best option.
Anyone have some words of wisdom?
-
This is great news!! Thanks to all!
-
Hoping I have my choice of vodka?? Does anyone know?
-
We will be staying two night prior to our cruise - we've only stayed in Isla Verde on previous pre cruise stays. Already have the Segway tour booked in Old San Juan for day of departure.
So - which is your favorite area for pre cruise and which resort/hotel do you prefer?
Thanks for any input you can give us. The condo we booked last April became 'unavailable'. SO glad I confirm all of our arrangements before we leave home
-
Thanks for the info jabberjaw - I noticed you did the Western - can you share what you did at your ports stops? My daughter will be on the Glory Western.
-
I hope to be watching my PACKERS on the big screen on the Splendor :D :D one of my bucket list items was to be on a cruise superbowl Sunday Cant wait !!! ~~!!~~
*Like* we are on the Glory for the Super Bowl - no matter who is playing, I will have my green and gold on :D
-
Loving your review - and FANTASTIC pictures!! Can you let us know what made this 'Journeys' cruise different? We are on the Glory 11 day Journey cruise out of San Juan. Did they bring entertainment onboard from the islands or serve different dishes from the islands? Thanks for sharing.
-
I probably shouldn't weigh in on how great I think aft balconies are as there are so few of them. There is NOTHING better than being memorized by the wake of the ship. Sailing out of the port you just made fantastic memories at - the list goes on. Sure, it can be hot during the day but during the day we are exploring the island or up on Lido socializing with our fellow passengers. We LOVE aft cabins :p
-
Great - thanks! Surprised that they would do that - ship leaves Roatan at 3 PM and Cayman not until 6 PM.
Thank you for responding! -
I'm guessing the first day at sea for the first one - would it be the short day in Roatan (Wednesday) or after Grand Cayman (Thursday)?
Thanks! -
Thanks for the input everyone - I think my daughter and her new husband will have an absolute blast no matter what!
-
No worries - I've seen the roll call - all three posts  and Two of them were mine
I'm just really hoping there isn't a huge group onboard that takes over the ship. Course, it is their honeymoon - they probably won't even notice :o
-
So, right in the middle of Spring Break - there is NO activity on the roll call. My daughter will be on this cruise for their honeymoon and I'm really worried about a huge group on board. I've googled it and nothing shows up. Why else would there be no chatter on the roll call??

1. Drunkenly sing karaoke by myself. (I've gotten up there before, but always with others bc of nerves. I would like to try to do it intoxicated, you know, liquid courage, and by myself)
2. Win $10,000 in the casino. I would say $20,000, but I don't want to be greedy.
3. Have movie night in my room with room service and alcohol. (I've tried this before, but because I am such an amazing person, I've made friends on day 1, or even before-thanks CC, and if we were separated too long, I'd get the call to my room asking, "WHERE YOU AT?!" So then I'd have to leave and join my new friends.)
4. This one kind of goes along with #3. Try not to have bartenders remember my name. There goes my frickin awesome personality again. Mind of it's own.
I wish there was a 'Like' button for this!
Looking for a 10+ day Caribbean cruise?

We were fortunate to do the 11 day Journeys cruise from San Juan to Miami and LOVED it. We would love to sail 10 to 14 days (but not B2B going back to point of embarkation)
I can't seem to find any?
