I know this is an old thread but I can't see the pix either. How do you figure out if the bed is by the bathroom or the balcony? I prefer my couch by the balcony, is there a way to tell?
Look at the deck plan. You will see a bump out where the bed is located.

we usually tip at the end,,,last time on breakaway in a mini suite large balcony, I tipped Owen $20 on Day 1 and got the worst service ever, no ice, no towel animals, no shampoo or soap, chicken wings under the bed etc
TIPS
To
Insure
Prompt
Service
why give prompt service if you already got you tip?
We had the same experience with Owen. I was traveling with a friend and her daughter, their first cruise. She tipped Owen $40 on the first day. We were also in a M6.
Out of 17 NCL cruises Owen was the absolute worst room steward or NCL worker that I have ever encountered.

I don't see nadda listed for any tier. Or is that a brand of bottled water?
That must be the drano every tier now gets. Oops I mean sparking wine.
Really it all looks fine to me.
I will miss the Godiva.

Wish I was sailing with you Sally. I can't wait to read more!
I love the Epic. Hope you win some jackpots in the casino.
You know I love pics lol

Here is a poster showing the couch opened to a bed:

I am on the 14 day Caribbean cruise and was offered an upsell ranging from $1750pp to $3000pp.(and it did not include the UBP,etc.)
I passed..I have an M6 cabin and felt it wasn't worth it!
The M6 has a great balcony :)

Anyone know if the Butler will bring you wings from O' Sheehans for room service on the Breakaway?
Yes. I just did that in Sept.

They have ruined the lamb. They replaced the lamb chops with a lamb loin medallions. We were in the gally watching the butcher cut the loin out of a rack of lamb and discard the bone. The seasoning on the new dish is just wrong.
About half the cruises we took this year were on the old menu, and we take advantage of the last of the lamb chops with our platinum dinner.
I agree 100%

It worked lol. The offer has been extended:
Booking Window: October 03, 2016 - October 31, 2016 11:59 pm EST

I would like to see a military discount for Veterans on all NCL cruises. Other cruise lines offer it.
Agreed!
-
I hope so too. I have friends that are booking next week.
-
I would love to know as well.
-
I like the offer they have right now. I hope they extend it. They could make it better by giving the 3rd and 4th in the room the same perks.
OBC is always great, but I haven't seen that in a long time.

Me too. Thats my fav :D:D:D

Could you explain what CAS is please.
And are you saying that prices of cruises drop just before sailing
CAS is Casinos At Sea.
-
Congrats! Thank you for the information.
Have a great cruise, I love the Epic Haven.
-
#neverforget
Oh No!
-
I have sailed both ways as well.
Yes Haven boards first as well as disabled passengers.
Then you have Casino at Sea passengers, Platinum and so on...
As far as the main theater seating goes they are not great seats. I had better seats when I got there early and was in a mini suite.
The dinner theater you can pay for VIP seating, If you did not then Haven and people who did pay for VIP will get better seats. If you get there early you may luck out and get front row, My friends did on the BA and they were in an inside cabin.
I didn't get any special line for customs last cruise when I stayed in the Haven.
I have been in suites on RCCL, Carnival and NCL. Suite passengers board first on all.
To answer your question: No the Haven is not needed.

An additional $2k seems over the top. I would try countering with $500 pp. You can use that extra by getting a Thermal Spa Pass & a few Couples Massages or some special Dinners.
I agree. I would try this first.

Looks amazing. I wish they had this on the Breakaway.

But it can work also the other way on more expensive cruises. My 9/2017 NCL Spirit 11 days Med/Venice cruise is only $695 Total. And I didn't have to pay double occupancy. The cruise would have cost me over $4800 in an OV room if paying regular price. Oh, and that's also with insurance added on.
It was so cheap I decided to extend my trip B2B 10 days more for only $680 Total .
So traveling Europe going to 18 ports for 21 days under $1400 is pretty DARN cheap to me.

I absolutely agree. CAS is great, I was just pointing out that other cruise lines don't charge the admin fee for comped cruises....yet anyway!
-
Fantastic! Please post when you get back. I have the H6 book on the BA for next year.
-
I did a comped casino cruise on RCCL and Carnival. Neither charge the admin fees.
Both came with free drink cards in the casino.
