  1. I 'm not so much into the nautical themed one but I can see myself sashaying around with the gold sequin version .... ;)

But really... Thanks, I'm looking for a new bag and that one looks like a great candidate. Can you tell me, is it made of quite sturdy fabric? I'm worried at it looks like rip stop nylon which might tear.

    Thanks :) caz

  2. Except, Majortom, that the headline price will never be lowered, so that your (future) cruise will cost the same as it does now. Even if you don't want all the extras on offer, you won't ever end up paying a cheaper fare than that of right now, with all of those extras currently included.

  3. I'm interested to see that the first couple of posters who were lucky enough to get a price drop were Australians . I have been keeping a close eye on Princess.com.au but haven't noticed any movement at all. I did see the Easter emails, but none of those price drops were applicable to the cruise we have booked ( Panama Canal full transit April 2015). So, I'm wondering if some routes don't fluctuate at all, whilst others, where there is a higher traffic perhaps, are more likely to experience drops? Or, is it a matter of the price drop being advertised through our travel agent, in which case, do I stay in regular contact with her, just shooting the breeze in case a special comes along? Any advice appreciated! We all want to save some $$$ ( even if it just means a couple more OBC $$)

  4. Can't give you any advice at all, but just wanted to say happy 50th birthday for 2015. My husband and I also (both) turn 50 next year and we are celebrating with a Panama Canal cruise on Princess. It's our second ever cruise, and we are hoping to be wowed, since we are coming from Australia especially for it...

Happy birthday to all the 1965 babies in 2015!

  5. Cruise prices are higher in Australia because there are no auto tips. In other words, the price charged is exactly that. The service charge/gratuity is built into the price structure, and staff are paid accordingly. There is no option to remove this apparently "voluntary" payment. Of course, if people want to make payments over and above, they will no doubt be appreciated by the recipients.
