Hello. We are planning on going straight to Animal Kingdom after our cruise to check out the new Pandora! We basically only have Until noonish to enjoy the park, so we want to get off the ship relatively early.So I'm trying to plan when to time/reserve my fastpasses.

We will have a car parked in the parking garage.

So my questions: when do you think is a realistic time we should expect to arrive at AK if:

1. We self disembark (assuming we get in line at 7:00), vs.....

2. We do regular disembark but ask for first off the ship after the self-disembark is done?

I ask because I've read that for self disembark 100's of people are getting in line before 6am, which will be a little tough with 6 kids in our party...

Do you know about when those menus were offered on the Oasis? I ask because they look relatively similar to the "old" Oasis menus (but really can't remember).

Also, do you know if the order of menus is the same for both western and eastern caribbean?

Thank you Foxtrot for this info. I'm sorry you have to go through this. I can only imagine the extreme frustration, and basically feeling completely abandoned by RCCL's lack of a strong response.

We have purchased several high end watches in the Caribbean without a hitch, and have been thinking of taking the "next" step towards buying fine diamonds in the Caribbean. Admittedly we have always been hesitant, and your story really helps me put things back in perspective. That's not to say all Diamond stores are risky. But your story will certainly give me pause from now on.

What has confused me is there really aren’t “free days”. A Diamond gets a $20 Internet discount and a Diamond+ gets a $40 discount. The discounts effectively double provided each person creates their own account for a portion of the cruise.

 

As a newly minted Diamond, this strategy seems like a no brainer. But then I ran the numbers and realized there are three variables that might make the 30% Cruise Planner discount more attractive.

 

The most cost effective option depends on status, package, and days. As the ten day cruise example shows, the best choice depends on the package and the Diamond discount.

 

For VOOM SURF VOYAGE PACKAGE - 1 DEVICE

D+, it's better to take the 30% discount for any cruise longer than 20 days.

D, it's better to take the 30% discount for any cruise longer than 10 days.

 

For VOOM SURF VOYAGE PACKAGE - 2 DEVICES

D+, it's better to take the 30% discount for any cruise longer than 11 days.

D, it's better to take the 30% discount for any cruise longer than 5 days.

 

For VOOM SURF VOYAGE PACKAGE - 3 DEVICES

D+, it's better to take the 30% discount for any cruise longer than 8 days.

D, it's better to take the 30% discount for any cruise longer than 4 days.
