  1. You will have to wait and find out after you board the ship.

There is no guaranty your particular game is going to be shown. This

would just be an FYI.....if missing the game is going to ruin your cruise?

Just dvd it and don't listen to anything on the ship so you can watch

    it when you get home.

Oh, missing the game will not dampen my cruise spirit! It will be nice to see part of the game and know who won. I am DVR'ing both games while I am away. I'm a season ticket holder and love my Saints. Nothing wrong with polling the audience to see what my chances are. If it works out, great, if not I will catch up when I get home! :D

  2. We are huge fans and cheer for a team that is often the CBS game of the week. To be honest, I find it a bit depressing to be sailing in the Caribbean and glued to a TV screen for 3 hours in the middle of the afternoon. My hubby on the other hand can't understand my position.;):D

Yes, you are correct, we are on the Constellation in December, but our b2b starts on the 8th and ends on the 22nd. I think your cruise starts on the 13th.

You are correct- will get on the ship on 12/13/14. What cabin did you choose? I have you on our roll call list but don't have any info next to your name.

I do Agee that it's silly to give up hours of relaxation time for a game, but I love football & I love my Saints!

    Look forward to meeting you!

  3. My experience has been you will be able to see the CBS and/or Fox games of the week and NBC/Sunday night and ESPN MNF. How odd your experience has been so different.

I think y'all may both be on my cruise (Oville & Orator). It's 12/14/14 & 12/21/14. No clue which networks, but thanks for the info!

You will find me in my Saints jersey!

  4. So basically you can only use your sea pass beverage package at the one bar the cruise sets up? Sorry, I'm confused too! It sounds like an amazing concept if the area is small.

Thinking about doing the private cabana, but not sure yet.

  5. I just saw this thread and thought I'd add my 2 cents as I was looking for info on this cabin when we booked it!

    CABIN #: 6000

    DECK #: 6

    CLASS: OV

    AREA: FWD

    BED NEAR: two beds

    QUIET?: Not really; See notes

BALCONY VIEW: unobstructed through very large circular window

    BALCONY SIZE: NA

    WIND A PROBLEM?: NA

    SOOT A PROBLEM?: NA

Booked this cabin based on deck plan drawings, wanted some extra space and it was really a great sized room for two singles...little sitting area inside the window which was nice, very spacious.

HOWEVER, the 3rd nite of the cruise around midnite very loud bass 'thumping' began and continued on, even with continued calls to front desk. Apparently the crew 'disco' was on deck 5 in same vicinity and this happened every nite from midnite on. Very loud, continued every nite...

Ended up getting moved to another cabin...

I would love to see this cabin if you have pictures! I'm booked in an oversized OV cabin, #8002, but really like these forward facing cabins! So little info on these little gems.

    Thank you!

  6. Going on my 3rd solo cruise on the Serenade of the Seas out of New Orleans. \0/. Any one else?

Arriving 2 days early to do a little touring in NO before we sail. Can't wait to sail

    Colleen

Not going on this cruise, but I do live in New Orleans. Let me know if you need anything while you are here pre-cruise!

I am taking the Serenade of the Seas after it is reloacted to Ft. Lauderdale next Dec. I'm so excited about the cruise - leaves on 12/14/15 for a 9 nt itinerary. I have a nice aft balcony, I think it's room 9660?

Email me alainamarie2003 at hotmail dot com so we can chat! :p

  7. Hi Alaina, I am not going on your cruise but I sail with Celebrity on

    a regular basis.:)....hope you have a wonderful cruise:D

Thank you for the well-wishes! Too bad you are not on my cruise, I'm hoping it's a fabulous time! Have you been on the constellation? Would love to pick your brain about sailing with Celebrity in general and get your opinion on the stateroom I chose! So hard when you don't know what to picture ;)

  8. I think it would translate much easier, and make more sense from a perspective of flow. That they already have dedicated islands, and tray stands and not so much need to wander to see whats there, it's all right in front of you.

I'd like them to make the waffles making self-serve, like many hotels do these days. It's simple enough, pour some batter close the lid, spin it and wait for the beep.

I find they duplicate some things already so there is space. By removing the big pans, they free space to put out multiple new items so they can get 2 new pre-plated items in the place of a big ban practically. They would have to double up on the egg staff I think, maybe doing eggs at the pizza/pasta station as well, and entice people to Mast grill outdoors which is at far end of pool deck (and up 1 level too I think?) versus on M class sits nearer the cafe where it makes more logical sense.

Lunch and dinner, I think will work out pretty well without needing the Mast grill to take the edge off the push for custom eggs.

Curt - what is your email address? It won't let me email you from the link.
