Thinking of booking a cruise from Southampton, UK to Iceland & Norway. We'd be flying from east coast (VA area).

What airport is closest to Southampton cruise port? How to get from whatever airport to cruise port? Any suggestions on accomodations or attractions near port?

Use SAS shuttle. They are prompt and safe!

We will be disembarking the NOS on 4/2/16 in Ft. Lauderdale. We have a private van picking us up at Port at 10:00 am to take us to FLL. Our flight doesn't leave until 2 pm.

Our first time on RCL, so not sure if we are actually allowed to stay on the ship that late. Or where we should wait! How early should we disembark to go thru the security process for a 10:00 am pick up?

We're staying at the Hilton the end of this month. Rented 4 rms. for us 10 (family cruise).

Would love recommendations for a restaurant that is walkable for dinner!

And Breakfast too! I thought I read that the hotel has breakfast but its buffet.

Staying at the Hilton in Ft. Lauderdale near the port.

Looking for suggestions for a restaurant for breakfast within walking distance of hotel.

Not fond of the buffet option at the hotel, very expensive and theres 10 of us!

We're on the 6 night cruise on NOS on 3/26-4/2.

Does anyone know what night The Quest might be on?

Will a 2 yr. old need a car seat in a taxi to ride to/from the port/airport?

Or do we have to hire a private car and order a car seat? We really hadn't planned

on bringing a car seat on our trip.

We have been dealing with some difficult medical decisions involving my 93 yr. Old mother in law. Last week having to put her in a nursing home and her health is failing. So with this trip coming up, we've struggled with whether we should cancel.

So excited...we booked the " Hotel le Clarriesse al Pantheon ". It's 2 mins. from the Pantheon and a few blocks from Piazza Navona.

I emailed the Hotel several times with questions. They were so polite and prompt in responding.

We can't wait!!!

driving south 90 mins. to RDU [Raliegh]

How far in advance should we book a flight with a good rate?

Has anyone booked a flight from the east coast to FCO recently and have rates changed that much? I checked last night and a flight with a decent flight time of 14 hrs. with 1 layover, was $1300.00, yikes!

Is a 12:30pm return flight from FCO to home doable?

We made our hotel choice and we're booking it this week!

So excited about our choice and location!!! :-)
