We are on board Britannia and can confirm that the menu is definitely different each day ( lunch and dinner). No complaints from us! 

For the uninitiated, Bananas Foster are baked bananas soaked in rum with spices and served with ice cream. Delicious. Making my mouth water just thinking about it!

and Barnham is indeed a very popular ‘change here for……’ station. Small village but great rail connections. 

Bring back good old Bananas Foster!!! 🍌

Just to put a spanner in the works...... My brother-in-law had a heart attack on a cross channel ferry. The medical centre on board liaised with the nearest cardiac specialist centre which was in France. He was airlifted off the ferry and taken to the french hospital where he received excellent treatment. When he returned home he was billed for over 10,000 euros for the cost of the airlift......luckily, this was covered by travel insurance he had through his bank. This was about 7 years ago so things can change but I have a feeling airlifts still don’t come free.

Tried to pay my cruise balance this morning. After entering all the relevant details, hit the enter button to have a message displayed saying “ you have reached the maximum number of passengers for this cruise”. I’m a bit bemused by this as I certainly had no intention of inviting anyone else along to see The Northern Lights next February. Anyway, I will leave it for a few days and see what happens with my bank account ( have I paid or not?). 

Other issues. I have 2 planned cruises which are not displayed on my account. Mysteriously, I have other planned cruises which are. Also, trying to enter details on cruise personaliser (such as the address of the person to contact in an emergency.......new requirement) was not easy, however I did eventually manage to save the data.

I have sent feedback to P&O. To be honest, I guessed the new CP would have it’s issues. After all, the new on-line booking system is pretty dire so it was odds on that the CP would go the same way. I’m someone who doesn’t mind change, if it’s for the better, but feeling pretty frustrated at the moment. The old CP worked so well. Let’s hope these issues can be sorted out pretty quickly. 

We have booked cabin G417 and have been in cabins around there previously. There is absolutely no obstruction, they are mid ship and very close to the lifts (but no stairs......at present). Perfect for us.

Not happy at all !!!!! I tried to withdraw cash from an ATM this evening to be told I have insufficient funds. Phoned my bank who tell me there is a pending amount of £2958 to be paid to Princess from my current account (which I paid on 3rd March). Can't access any funds and if taken will make me seriously overdrawn with penalty charges. Have tried to phone Princess but just hear a recorded message saying they are aware of the problem and have no updates on resolution at present. Sort this out Princess .... and fast!!!!

Just back from China on millnium,chic night!!! dress not much different than any other night caps a plenty me thinks you have a formal night or don't bother at all.

Our cruise 2017 sept cruise was 12 days now 16 days at no extra cost apart from port tax .GReat result.

If sun beds is anyone's main worry why do a cruise do a land based holiday.

As I said at the beginning of this thread we had a great time just avoid the negative people.

Would just like to say that we have disembarked Brtitannia today from our repositional cruise (Barbados to Southampton). We have had a fantastic time! Friendly staff, great entertainment, good food, loads to do.... so please do not always believe the negative comments you may read about this ship.

Would add that we are not "1st timers" and have cruised many times with different cruise lines.

You could always wear a Kilt........

We have also been on flam railway so a change to Andalsnes is OK by us.

Have booked the train journey trip today looks good.

We booked with P&O direct . Received Email this morning. Cruise personaliser has been updated to reflect this.

We are on Britannia on 18june change to itinerary 22from Flam toAndalsnes .

Hope not too many people have booked railway lndependemtly.

Have booked table for 2 in March hope it's good are seats allocated or do u sit anywhere thanks.

we are also on cruise in June and yes games will be shown. Sports 24 is the normal tv channel you can view their web site.

All PO ships show football ,sports 24 is the channel you can see listings on there website.

last time on azura it was just Stella but on VeNtura it was Stella and carling on draught just returned from Aruroa it was Stella Carling and peroni but only one some bars had no draught beer but staff would get beer from nearest other bar.

Barnham hotel has closed going to be Tesco express .

U must have been living the dream ,live just up the road from school.

AZura in September,just got a call yesterday from p&o asking if we wanted upgrading from obstucted outside cabin to balcony hb grade for 50£ each great result so you can get lucky sometimes.
