...The Spa---- Bought the couples spa pass on day one. This was a disappointment coming from Norwegian Escape. There is only 6 maybe 7 hot bed loungers in the thermal spa area. When we were there, people were doubling up.

I wanted to thank you for this information. I had been trying to find out something on the Vitality Spa; your review popped up in the search. I used the spa pass when I was on the Norwegian Escape in 2015; just got another for my Escape cruise next month. I had intended to get one for the Harmony later this year, but after seeing your comment, I think my money can go towards something else. (And I loved the Solarium!)

I appreciated your overall review too. [emoji846]

  2. I don't think you will be able to see a full size bliss until later this year, not with the World Dream taking Joy spot after she leaves. But there will be sections.

Thanks. I was just on Meyer Werft's home page and saw that about the World Dream. I'll be happy just seeing sections of the Bliss. I'm easy to please. [emoji846]

  3. Meyer Weft have a webcam at their homepage. After floating out the Joy they will start with the Bliss.

    And FreestyleNovice finds good pics.

    Thanks for the info.

I followed the construction of the Escape so closely, I want to do the same with the Bliss. Any idea when the Joy float out will be? I'd like to get up early and watch that. [emoji846]

  4. Hello

I recall seeing a thread to track which dates/ship large groups have booked. I found an old thread listing groups for 2016. Is there a thread/tracking sheet for large groups in 2017. I couldn't find it.

    Thanks.

Try the "2016-2017 incentive/group cruises on NCL." I think they try keeping it updated as much as possible.

You should be able to find it at - http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=2333900

  5. We did a partial transit Panama Canal cruise from Ft Lauderdale through the Gatun Locks a couple years ago. I never edited the video until recently.

Wanted to share our experience. We really enjoyed the cruise.

Other stops on our cruise included the following. Also made a couple videos of those stops as well.

    Aruba

    Cartagena

    Panama Canal - Gatun

    Colon (not very exciting)

Limon Really enjoyed our tour, we went zip lining

    Grand Cayman

    We really enjoy cruising!

Going thru the Panama Canal next year on the new Bliss. Thanks for giving me some idea of what to expect! (I need to check out your Cartagena one too as I know we make a stop there).

  6. I booked yesterday. I'd already given my travel agent a heads up, she finally got thru to NCL (the phone lines were crashing) and I'm in a studio on her first Panama Canal cruise in May 2018. That's a cruise which has been on my bucket list forever! It will also make it the LONGEST cruise I've ever taken. Very excited to be doing it on a brand new ship! I haven't been this in love with a ship since the Escape, so this year is going to go by very slowly. [emoji3][emoji3]

I guess I'll see you on the roll call! [emoji846] Even with my port taxes mine was still a great deal considering it's for 15 days.

I'm in the site right now trying to organize all my options before I contact my travel agent again and you're right! I was thinking every studio was sold out on every cruise, then I got in deeper and was like "Hey wait there they are." LOL Very confusing.

  10. My travel agent just emailed me this press release from NCL. This is all she has at the moment (no word yet on the inaugural but she's going to stay on it):

"En route to Miami following the completion of her Alaska cruising season, Norwegian Bliss will sail one five-day Pacific Coastal sailing from Vancouver to Los Angeles on September 30, with an overnight stay in Vancouver and calls in Victoria, British Columbia and San Francisco. Norwegian Bliss’ seven-day Mexican Riviera cruises will feature calls in Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlán and Cabo San Lucas, adding Ensenada, Mexico on its eight-day itinerary. For those looking for a once-in-a-lifetime cruise experience, Norwegian Bliss will depart Los Angeles on November 3 for a*14-day journey to Miami through the new locks of the recently expanded Panama Canal, with calls in Puerto Vallarta and Manzanillo, Mexico; Puerto Quetzal, Guatemala; Puntarenas (Puerto Caldera), Costa Rica; and Cartagena, Colombia."
