  1. No, not directed at you. There was another post. It looks like it was removed. Quoted Chandlm's post about the star class line and every 3rd person star class would go. Basically called Chandlm a nasty name. I was commenting on that post. Glad it was removed. This is a great thread for keeping up to date on star class benefits. I would hate to see it go away because people are receiving negative comments after posting legitimate questions like yours or really informative updates like Chandlm's. Sorry you thought I was posting about you.

  2. I too always tell them at the beginning that I will not buy any products and do not wish to hear about them. I try to say this as nicely as possible and am pretty generous with the tip. I frequently have more than one spa experience per cruise. So, it is good to get this issue out of the way early on. I agree it can ruin the experience having to listen to all of the talk about toxins and products. This happened to me on my first cruise years ago. Has not happened since.

  3. My husband is disabled. Our last cruise he was using a cane. He will no longer be cruising as it has become too difficult. We cruise Celebrity, I cruise RC with family and friends. Our last cruise he left the suite dining room to go to the men's room. The line for the main dining room went past the men's room. He had his cane. He moves slowly. He later told me people would not move out of the way so he could get to the restroom. This created an embarrassing problem. So, if you see someone wth difficulties, make a hole, cut them some slack, let them on the elevator first, do what you can. This was my husbands last cruise. When you see a disabled person, instead of thinking they are in the way or slowing you down, think maybe this is their last cruise and do what you can to make it better. At least, move out of the way. Please.

  4. In addition to my salty snacks (ie chips and really good crackers) and sweet snacks (ie cookies and chocolates) I bring a jar of jalapeño stuffed olives. Nice and spicy. Pull out the jalapeño, get blue cheese from buffet and make fresh, spicy blue cheese stuffed olives for our martinis. Never had a problem bringing the olives on board.

  5. Be sure you order room service breakfast on your huge balcony. I would do it the first morning. That way you will be hooked and do it the rest of the cruise. Remind them to bring a tablecloth (sometimes they forget). Order everything your hearts desire. Somehow sitting out on that deck makes you want to linger and nibble away at all that food. A little Champagne or Bloody

Mary tops it all off nicely. Having family speaking Italien will make things easier. I am envious.

  6. You are on Deck 9 Aqua Theater. Is it 9730 by chance. Maybe you can post some pictures. I know the deck is slightly smaller than on deck 8, but I don't think it is much smaller. Let me know what you think. Also let us know about the suite perks. I can't wait until next year.

And to the person that would give up the sky loft for Aqua. Absolutely. Sorry can't remember your screen name and can't go back now. I think the other suites might be a bit nicer inside, but I love the deck in Aqua. There is always something going on in the Aqua theater area, the climbing wall and now the slide. Now if that Genie will bring us cocktails on the deck, we will be in heaven.

  7. On the Allure we have had the two bedroom Aqua Theater on deck 8 twice and loved it. This time deck 8 was not available. We chose the May 6 date because of the availability of the Aqua Suite on deck 9. On the Allure, we Loved breakfast on the huge balcony. Had dinner there a couple of times and a party during the belly flop contest. Cannot wait to experience the new suite perks and of course the new ship. Hope to read more on how the new suite amenities actually work out. Already love Coastal Kitchen.

  8. Just booked 2 bedroom Aqua Theater Suite on Harmony for May 6, 2017. Cannot find a roll call. Although I have posted before I have never started a roll call and do not have the skill set to do all the organizing, spreadsheets etc that the starters always seem to end up doing. Anyone here going on that cruise and might be interested in starting roll call? Looking forward to this new ship. Love the Allure. The Harmony looks like it is even better!

  9. We get on the Allure on the 30 of August (almost there). We have booked this tour. There are 4 of us and two of us have been to Florence several times. We booked this tour because you spend more time in Florence than another that was offered. Can't remember the name.

The plan is to skip the organized part of the tour and just wander on our own, shop and have a nice lunch. I will post back and let you know.

  10. I think I was typing as you all (or as we say y'all) were posting. I just added the mushroom soup (I must have missed that one) and risotto.

This thread is finally starting to take off. Wonderful. It is such a big ship and so many food venues it us hard to find all the gems. You might can sense that I am a foody. :)

  11. Anita latte, wow those sound wonderful. I will definetly try them. So now let me recap, salted Carmel pudding, cheesecake pops, strawberry cheesecake cookies and almond cookies with dark chocolate (two of my favorites). Oh, and a steak.

Great info. Keep the suggestions coming please.

With all those sweets, I think "Anita Latte". Good name.
