I want to do the P & O Oceana Cruise, Genoa to Venice but I cant seem to find much about direct flights to Genoa from Manchester. Can anyone who has done this cruise or the alternate Venice to Genoa cruise and has used flights from Manchester, give me any information on what airline P&O used, and which airport they flew you to.

I have completed my second cruise on Celebrity and intend to take another soon. I have had two emails inviting me to join the Captains club, I filled in the information on line and the message both times was you will shortly receive your membership number. Sadly both times nothing has come through. Am I doing something wrong or is this a known issue with the Celebrity IT systems? I rechecked the email when I entered it to make sure there wasn't an error.

How to explain this contradiction from two posters? One poster says people can no longer even get wait-listed for traditional dining, while the other says there were "few customers and lots of empty tables". One seems to indicate that it is fully reserved, while the other seems to indicate that not very many people choose traditional any more. This discrepancy doesn't make sense.

I think that people chose a traditional dining option, but then opt for an alternate option on non formal nights. On formal nights in the MDR there were few empty tables, on other nights it was quite empty as people who had allocated tables didn't turn up, or chose to eat elsewhere.

Was this in Select or Traditional?

This was in the traditional dining.

I have just returned from a week on Equinox, this was my second celebrity cruise (first one was in 2013). Except for formal evenings, there were many empty tables in the MDR, compared with the 2013 cruise and there was little or no atmosphere, it felt like being in a restaurant with few customer and lots of empty tables.

My experience and other replies is that they use this new walkway in Geiranger now and don't use tendering in this port, so if I remember you can get off when you want to. Not sure what happens If you asking a more general question about tendering in any port .

I would be interested to know if there is a general rule as we are going to Greek Island and are tendered in one port

We were there last year and had the use of this walkway, There were two other smaller ships in the same day who had to use tenders.

I have only done one celebrity cruise, (Norwegian Fjords) the two couples who shared our table in the MDR were in to quizzes and from what I can remember there were a number of these throughout the day.

Sorry if this is a dumb question, on our invoice (booked direct with celebrity) we have a line that says Service charge and then this amount is taken off on the line below as 123gopromo3. Am I right in assuming that this service charge line is the gratuities and the minus shows they have been paid.

Thanks for the reponses, as we both booked direct with Celebrity they have linked the two bookings

I have booked a cruise with friends on Celebrity next June. We have made two separate bookings as we have different travel arrangements and it was easier to do this as we dont live near each other.

How can we arrange that we are on the same dining table (we have both chosen the same sitting time)?

Can we arrange it before we go or is this something that is better/ easy to do when we are on board.

I am planning a second cruise, having taken my first one to the Norwegian Fjord with Celebrity last year. One thing I liked about the Celebrity Cruise was that it was a very relaxing experience and there were no on board announcement (expect of course those for safety on arrival and on departure).

Can anyone provide information about which other cruise lines Do Not have on-board tannoy. I am hoping to go with a friend who went on a Baltic cruise also last year with Royal Caribbean (I think) and she found the o- board tannoys announcements very annoying and its kind of put her off going again
