Real Feta is made with sheeps milk, but for some reason all American-made fetas as cows milk. It can be hard to find sheep feta in the supermarket, but I've seen Greek and Israeli versions of it at Trader Joe's. Any imported sheep feta should be closer in taste to what you had on the ship.
Would it taste like that with sheep's milk "strong blue cheese taste"? Because when I tried it on the ship it was really creamy like almost cream cheese like and salty with no "blue cheese" tasting.

Hey Cruisers,
I was recently on the Allure ship and had this amazing cheese I think it's feta at the buffet. It did not have a sign during the times I was there but can anyone tell me if they make it or buy it? And if you have tried that particular feta cheese when can I get it? I have tried some feta cheese and I don't like the taste...just like the blue cheese I can't stand that taste. But on Allure I tasted this cheese that was creamy and salty feta cheese and really enjoyed it. So I'm wondering if anyone can help me out with what brand or kind of feta cheese it is so I can run to get it :) TIA

I would suggest you visit Atlantis! It is beautiful! Also visit blue lagoon for swimming! You would have to take a short ferry to the island. The water is amazing and calm with barely any waves (if you like that). Happy Honeymoon!! 4 yrs ago, I sailed Oasis for the 1st time for our honeymoon! Enjoy!

I'm going to be cruising to Falmouth, Jamaica and I was wondering if I can use US dollars while in port? Will the vendors give me the same price if I pay Jamaican dollars or US dollars?
Also I want to buy alcohol in Jamaica...looking for the Sheridan's coffee liqueur, Sangster's cream rum, Tortuga rum cake, and blue mountain coffee! Where is the cheapest I can find them for? On the cruise or in port? I will be visiting Labadee, Falmouth, and Cozumel.
Should I exchange my money on the ship if need be? Or where is the cheapest to exchange money? Airport? TIA

Hello CC, I bought these "water shoes" not sure if these are water shoes or water socks but I would like to use them for Dunn's River Falls do you think these are meant for walking up slippery rocks? If not I have to find a different pair. TIA
Also I would like to use them in Cancun at Explor.

I'm taking Allure in August 24th to the Western Caribbean and staying in room 12584! Your room is directly below mine. The bed will be near the balcony and close to the elevator! I think this room will be great!

I only see only one accessible balcony cabin available (6626) for your sailing and honestly Im surprised it is. They must have had a cancellation.
Its after final payment. Me being a cruiser that NEEDS an accessible cabin to sail, I say go for it. Just know that you could be moved if a disabled passenger needs the cabin.
With that said, most of us know we have to book months in advance.
Enjoy the extra room but you better act fast :)
Thanks!! I was wondering if I wait till 30 days before we sail to ask for a bigger room if available and get it.... But somehow someone who needed the handicap accessible room would I get a better room than I originally paid for? Or worst?

Royal Caribbean opens any unsold handicap cabins to general booking at 30 days out from sailing. There are no restrictions at that time. Just call and ask. If the CS rep says not possible to book-just call back and get a knowledgeable rep.
Thanks I will wait till the last 30 days to call RCI 😆

^^ This is a pretty irrelevant post. Do you ever use handicap accessible bath stalls or ramps? Big difference between Handicap accessible and handicap only.
The OPs Allure cruise is in August and way after final payment. You will be allowed to move to an accessible room. Be aware though, that the cruise-line may ask you to move if the room is needed by a disabled cruiser. If it was before final payment, the cruise line would need you to provide some type of documentation that you are handicap and need the room.
Have a great cruise!
Thanks!!

It is difficult to get a accessible cabin at this late date. You can try but it really is not right to do so. Someone who is really disabled would then not be able to get the cabin needed. There are so few cabins for folks with handicaps.
Yeah, I know it's sounds really bad! Maybe I can ask the last few days before we sail. I wouldn't want to take a room from someone who needed it.

Hello, I am going to be on Allure of the Seas on August 24, 2014 and I was wondering can I request a wheel chair accessible ocean view balcony? Because when I was on the Oasis I had a guarantee ocean view balcony and was assigned a wheel chair accessible room 12162. I don't need a handicapped room but I would love the extra room! Isn't almost like a junior suite? Some 10 sq feet more for a JS right? TIA

12584: bed by the balcony.
Thanks :D

I just want a confirmation that Allure of the Seas 12584 is bed near balcony? TIA
I was on Oasis and had 12162 and it was Bed near Bathroom for those looking at that room because that "bed placement rule" doesn't work for that room. I stayed in that room in 2010

I've always took a 12-pack of water and some sodas in my luggage and it was never taken. I've also seen people with cases and slapped a luggage tag on it and no one ever said anything.

When I brought my bottles, they opened them up and the security guards took a drink to make sure it was only wine.
They said it was the new policy.
So after they drank it... Did they re-cork for you? I've seen videos of ppl trying to put hard liquor into the wine bottles lol

Also can I bring 2 during embarkation and then buy 2 more at the other ports? I'm sure they don't keep track.
For the 2 wines do I have to carry on board or can it be in my luggage?

Can I get 2 wines from the ports I'm visiting and bring up to my room for consumption? Or does that have to be kept till last day of cruise? Can it be counted as the 2 I can drink in the room?
