I am remarried and travel with my DD from first marriage so our names do not match. I always travel with a notarized letter from her dad stating the dates and place we are going. In your case you will also need a letter allowing you to get medical attention for your nephew if it was needed. I have never been asked for the letter from my ex but the law requires me to have it. Now the letter for medical care is different... My mother was keeping my DD while we were gone when she was younger and she got sick. The dr could not see her without a letter even though she knew who my mom was because she generally went with us to the dr. Fortunately she was able to get ahold of my ex and get a letter to the dr. Better safe than sorry.

We are doing this on our cruise in Nov. Our PVP put him in one room and me in the other. She said once on board just switch the rooms. I was concerned about this so I have called the 800 number several times and have gotten the same answer each time I have asked. But you do have to be booked in the room tied to your offer then switch.

Do the FTTF check in at a different area than VIP? I am just hoping to be able to stay with them thru the entire process and checking together

Can anyone tell me if FTTF and guests with VIP go the same route boarding the Dream. Only asking because my husband and I have VIP and the in laws have FTTF. My PVP told me we can stay together but it does not seem that way with some of the comments I have read. I would have purchased FTTF for both rooms had they not told me we could stay together thru the entire process.

We have cruised multiple times for thanksgiving, doing so this year, and once over the Christmas holiday. They serve turkey and dressing in the MDR on thanksgiving night. Other than that no changes on that week that we have seen. We did not cruise Christmas week but the week after so the changes we saw was the ships atrium was decorated for Christmas. They were taking it down the day we disembarked. Lots of kids but we expected that.
