When I do a 'dummy' booking on this cruise using promo code AV05, this is what it tells me....................(I googled ABP promo codes). Give it a try.
This cruise booking potentially qualifies for complimentary parking.

Has anyone else seen confirmation of this, checked the usual Royal FB page and saw nothing. Hopefully someone on Indy can confirm soon.
The no smoking started on May 1st. We were on the T/A, went to the Casino for a cigarette, no ash trays anywhere. I asked the bartender if I could have a cigarette, I was told, as from that day, there was no smoking in the Casino. Not all the staff new about this 'new rule'. I do believe there was the odd night that smoking was allowed in there.

It will be a pity if this was another thing that the UK market loose out on :(
No price matching if the price drops, no free cancellation - deposit always lost, no swapping guarantee staterooms (in same category) and now possibly no upsell calls .......
Think I might speak to my DH and tell him we should move to the US !! :D
Jean
That's why we book through a US travel agent. ;)

You didn't tell us the ship or cabin
It's in the header title. ;)

The only time I've tipped in Southampton was on disembarkation from a world cruise where I grabbed a guy and he waited while I found my four cases. I gave him a fiver. On arrival I've never tipped, not sure why I should, he only grabs the case from me and plonks it on a trolley!
He could always leave you to grab your own bags and haul them thro' security yourself. :o

Wherever we board or, disembark the ship, we always tip the porters. :)

Just had a look a Rome in a limo but they are bit pricey for me. We are in Rome on a Thursday so should be open
I agree with all the posters here, Romeinlimo are a fantasic tour company.
As a previous poster said, try to set up a tour for 15/24 people on your roll call. You will get to see and do so much more than a ships tour, at a much lower cost. For us, it was worth every cent. :)

I have food aversions. What I do is inform the special needs dept of the foods I cannot eat and mention it the first time in the dining room. I've also printed the items onto a card and laminated it, to be safe, I show it to the waiters whenever I dine in the MDR.

Hello,
I am a UK resident but its apparent you can get better deals through booking through the USA site so my question is:
Who books through an american agent
Who books through the RCL USA Site
or can you just ask Royal for the cruise in dollars and risk the currency rate changing?
Cheers
Pete
We use a US travel agent and have had some great deals with her. Not in the way of gifts/OBC etc but, pricewise. Google US travel agents and see what you come up with. ;)

From the UK web site (FAQ'S), try this one. :)

We've done this on 95% of all our cruises without any problems. We now deal with one US travel agent who is fantastic. :)

Welcome to Cruise Critic. :)
If you go on your roll call and introduce yourselves, you may find other people to join you in a private two day tour in SP. We used TJ travel, who were brilliant.
We did this cruise and, it's our best one yet, we still talk about it to this day.
Here is a link to your roll call................

We book all our cruises thro' the US (except for one particular line). The last 4/5 have been thro' a US t/a we met a few years ago on board the JOS, and has become a friend. Our cruises have always been cheaper thro' her, sometimes by a lot of $'s. Her personal gift from her is usually 1/2 bottles of wine (which we both enjoy) or, differently on one of our upcoming bookings, cupcakes. We are more than happy using our friend to handle our bookings, so far she has been faultless. :)

We used romeinlimo for three tours when we did the Italian Med. They were fantastic. Very professional and knowledgeable. We saw so much more than we would of done had we done a ships tour also, so much cheaper. If there are not enough people on your roll call to fill a van, you can always share a tour thru' romeinlimo.
romeinlimo arrange all your entry tickets also.

Here are some discussions regarding romeinlimo here on CC.

BTW, a big welcome to Cruise Critic.

I think cabins 5340 & 5341 are OS...anyone have pics of this cabin or opinions?
We stayed in this cabin last September. Great cabin, lots 'n lots of room BUT, the balcony (for me) spoilt the whole suite thingy. :(
Hope this is of some help to you...................

Thank you so much for your excellent report. We'll be on her in 14 days doing the PC, can hardly wait. :)

We have used dot com on a number of our cruises, not sure if things have changed. Find a good agent in the US, I'm sure that they would do this for you. Sorry, it's against CC rules to give out any recomendations for one.

Does RCI allow flowers to be carried on board? I will be boarding in FLL for the Southern Caribbean.
On all our prior cruises I have never needed to know this.
Thanks in advance for your help.:)
I have always carried flowers onto the ship without any problems. Will be doing so again soon. :D

No need to pre pay as RCI will charge your Seapass daily for gratuities.
I thought you did have to pre-pay if you are doing MTD.
