Guests will jump for joy upon discovering this private retreat where they can connect with the ocean – and disconnect from everything else. Exclusively for those 18 and over, Vibe Beach Club is resplendent with ocean views, an over-sized hot tub, chaise loungers and a relaxing water feature - idea for relaxation. A full-service bar, water spritzers, chilled towels and skewers of fruit ease you even more into serenity. A limited number of passes will be available for purchase onboard at the Guest Service Desk.

Translation, it's an adult-only area with great service and because it is limited in number, it isn't hectic like the public pool/sundeck areas.

Where is this magical place?! I never saw it last time. I'm assuming you can't get it online ahead of time? Do you remember the cost? Excited to check it out!

  2. Hi everyone! Have any of you done the cabana at Great Stirrup Cay? I'm traveling with my 82 year old mother, and not sure if it'll be too hot for her, even in the shade with a fan. Last year, it was about 77 degrees when we went, but it felt so much hotter on the beach in a clamshell. Assuming it would be ok for her, do any of you have other feedback on the cabanas? Thanks in advance!

  3. Just call the upsell number. They'll ask for your reservation number and let you know what is available and what the cost would be to upgrade. The number is 800 625 4309.

I'm on the same cruise as you. We're within 2 weeks of sailing, so if there are cabins available now's a good time to call.

  4. Well it is official and no longer rumor according to this article on cruise fever:. http://cruisefever.net/08032-norwegian-adding-margaritaville-to-two-more-cruise-ships/

This is SUPER disappointing. UG was one of my favorite spots on Breakaway. I loved the burgers. I'm also disappointed that it'll be a la carte, but I'm still going to check it out on my Nov 13 cruise. I promise to ravage that margarita menu thanks to my UBP [emoji484][emoji484][emoji484] Pics of food and drinks to come!!! (Yes, I'm one of those...)

  5. I've tried them all, and I liked them all. However, the frozen drink called Havanas 'n Bananas, which is unique to Margaritaville, is delish! I could put down several of those in a row without blinking an eye on a hot sea day.

Also, while the bar at Margaritaville (called Chill Bar) serves drinks not found at other bars on the ship, so does the 5 O'Clock Somewhere Bar. They both have their own unique menu of drinks not served elsewhere, and different from each other. Several are worth checking out.

For this reason, I shall go! [emoji484][emoji484][emoji484][emoji484]

  6. Hi everyone,

Given we can't bring on water bottles anymore on Norwegian, and need to buy a water bottle package, does anyone know what the size is of the water bottle they give in the package? The cheapest package (per bottle) is the 24-pack, but that's still $3 a bottle. I hope at that price they'll larger bottles.

    Thanks!

  7. I have been in 5 cruises. Just finished my last cruise with an unlimited drink package, and I may do it again on my next. I go on cruises to indulge so my motto is that you must hit fitness center 1-2 times a day if you want to indulge and mitigate weight gain. Do 30min on bike or treadmill (on incline). Don't go crazy but make sure you break a sweat. Bring a book or two or some magazines for the workouts. You'll feel great and won't feel guilty getting desert.

As for drinking; the package can encourage you to drink more, but I certainly don't want to miss out on trying different drinks or getting another later in evening if I'm so inclined. Towards end of day switch to the least sugary drinks (or clearest like vodkas). The sugar is the culprit.

The working out will make you feel great and the lessening of sugary drinks (and more water) will help with sleep and hangover.

    But in the end, indulge.
