Hi tmt3698,
Thank you for posting & I hope you're still following it? I will be doing the Carnival "Tabyana Beach Break" Feb 1 2023. The Glory is in Port from 8am - 6pm. The excursion states it is 4 hours in length. Do they adhere to the 4 hrs as stated? Does the 4 hrs include the 1.5 hr road time? Can you tell me when the last transport to return to Mahogany Bay is? My concern is if I have time to snorkel & have a meal at a restaurant near by. I am pumped to return to the reef to snorkel! Any help from anyone would be greatly appreciated. 🙂

My son & I snorkeled West Bay. Our private driver through Boden Tours got us a boat & snorkel equipment for $10 a piece to take us out. The reef is a short distance from shore so you could snorkel independently as well. I am returning in Feb on a Cruise & will return to West Bay. It is some of the best snorkeling I've experienced. I would also consider if there will be another cruise ship there which may affect availability of rentable snorkel equipment.

We booked Best of Roatan (Private Tour) with Boden Tours. There were four of us in our party. We set our own itinerary & made four stops. I would compare the rates with Rony & Boden & then decide.

🏝IslandHppy please leave us photos of todays Fun Times which will make a full set.🌝 I greatly appreciate your time & effort. All good things come to an end.😩 The good news is you still have 14% of your Cruise left.😍

⚓️Thank you for the photos of the Fun Times. I believe the HUB App has pdf versions of these. Is there any way you could obtain them for us? I hope your cruise is filled with enjoyment & relaxation! 🏝

If I understand correctly you got the drink package thrown in for $40 extra pp? I'm sure they hit you with the beverage gratuity charge. I may be stating the obvious but it includes most beverages. Juice, Soda, Specialty Coffee, Tea, Shakes, Virgin Daiquiris, Bottled Water... Score!!!
Will be sailing on her soon. I'm looking forward to following along as well. Appreciate your time & consideration in doing this. 🙂

Hope to be doing this in Feb. My wife is 57 & a bit prone to heat exhaustion. Do you recall if the trek was canopy covered or prone to direct sunlight? Mitsugirly thanks for the blog links. You are a stand out in regards to contributing & aiding members!

Just make sure its not a surge protector but perhaps a nice power strip like this one?

Thanks for the post. I feared this was coming, however words cannot express the disappointment I'm feeling especially after rescheduling my cruise from last year. ☹️I don't blame Carnival as they certainly mean well. It's the ongoing Pandemic and specifically this damn Delta Variant thats devastating. Maybe I'm selfish but after kicking out the money for a well deserved vacation mask wearing really takes away alot of the enjoyment! I can't help but wonder where we would be if only everyone got the vaccination? 🤬

Just wondering if anyone heard anything more about this?

Yes it proves not only does vaccinations work but CCL safe guards are pretty effective. I hope no information is being witheld as this is how the general public makes their informed decisions. This Delta variant is just getting started. Just recently Saint Martin, Martinique, & USVI has joined BVI in the designation of "Level 4: Covid-19 Very High" meaning people should avoid traveling to these locations. Those who must travel should be fully vaccinated first. I have a cruise in January on the Glory out of NOLA that goes to Roatan, Belize City, & Cozumel. If it is cancelled I won't be disappointed cuz mask wearing and vacation should not go hand in hand.

I will be on the Glory for the January 30 2022 sailing. We got stateroom 8461 which is an aft extended balcony. I would also appreciate photos of the room should anyone have them? FYI: I hear there is a barbecue place some people don't realize is there that can only be accessed from the buffet area. It is one floor above with a staircase leading to it.

Hey scuba_ninja, Thank you very much for taking the time to post a review with wonderful photos. I really enjoyed your sense of humor.🙂 We sail on the Glory in January 2021. So looking forward to it. G.

I agree. Definitely do a private tour with Victor Bodden. Don't know if you and your family is into snorkeling... West Bay (Tabyana Beach) has outstanding snorkeling right there off the Beach. Yeah, don't limit yourself to Mahogany Bay. Have an adventure, your on vacation. 😊

Carnival Glory - LIVE - Aug 25-Sep 1 - NOLA - Montego Bay, Grand Cayman, Cozumel
Saint Gregg has copies of Fun Times in his Forum. You should be able to figure it out using them.

Hey Greg,
Early on you shared a concern about your stateroom being cool enough but never revisited the subject. How is the AC in your stateroom? Looks like your having a blast! You could write a personal guide to Carnival beverages 🍸as many as you have had the pleasure of sampling? 📖
Thanks for the Fun Times PDF files in Google Docs!

Hey Greg,
Thanks for sharing your adventure with us. Couple questions if I may? How long did it take to reach the Gulf traveling down the Mississippi River? What kind of internet package do you have? Happy Sailing!
Thks, G.

bankofdad thank you for taking the time to share your experience. Would you be so kind as to answer a couple questions? I have booked a similar stateroom. Mine is Verandah 8450 [8N]. Did you feel much vibration from the propellers or a lot of movement being so far aft? I will be sailing with DW & have MTD. Are you assigned a table with MTD? We prefer to dine alone? How do I go about arranging this? Thank You!

I'm trying to figure out how to work pictures this time. A year ago when CC was on tapatalk I used tapatalk exclusively. Since CC switched to their own photos, I've used CC for my cruise photos but I've still been using tapatalk to host the non-cruise photos in my review. Well now tapatalk has maybe figured out people are using them to host non-tapatalk pictures and they've changed it to where they don't give you the link to the pictures. It just puts an attachment ID in the post. So I'm trying to find a place to put my non-cruise photos. Everything I've tried so far CC won't embed using the URL. I've tried Google Photos, iCloud, Dropbox, OneDrive, Flickr, Instagram. I'm open to suggestions at this point.
I mean if I take a picture of a fat leprechaun in a cape..That's not something that needs to be in the CC album but it absolutely needs to be in my review thread.
Hi Greg,
I have used my Google Drive to create folders I want to share and provide whomever with a link. I enjoyed a Nautilus Submarine in Barbados. I hope you will also. Anyways, I am looking forward to your live review of the Glory as I plan to sail her in the future. Thank you! G.

I was on the January 27th - February 2nd Sailing to Western Caribbean. Below is a link to a Le Bistro Menu & a Moderno Menu. It also has the "What's Happening Today" section from the dailies.

Hello there! Celebrity Apex - Sunset Verandah?
in Celebrity Cruises
Posted
I booked a Sunset Veranda on the 12th deck. My reasoning was it gave me better access to the Oceanview Cafe. I have had balcony's below buffets on other lines before & it wasn't really an issue. I am quite guilty of being a foodie so having easier access to the buffet area is important to me! 😍
