  1. Just booked the Rays, Reef and Rum Point tour through NativeWays for our cruise in December. Website says it's 9 a.m.-2:15 p.m. Our ship (Independence of the Seas) will be in George Town from 8 to 5. I don't know anything about tendering as in last tender back to the ship. After our excursion, will we have time to see anything else? I would love to take a cab over to Pure Art and/or Smith Cove too.

  2. Will be visiting Grand Cayman in December and when reading about how to get to Rum Point, everyone says that taxis are super expensive and to rent a car instead. I will already be going on an excursion to stingray city sandbar and some snorkeling stops and want to spend the rest of the day at the beach after. I read about a Ferry that goes there, but all the posts I read said that it no longer ran due to hurricane damage but all those posts were about 7 years old. Is there still no ferries? What about any other boats or water taxis? Anything?

Or... I have found that NativeWays does a tour that includes stingrays, snorkeling and a stop at Rum Point... does anyone else?

  3. So based on everything I have read on TripAdvisor and Cruise Critic, I found the names of several highly recommended private tour guides for my upcoming day in Jamaica... and all of course say they were the best...

I have since emailed them all and they're all willing to go where I want, but they've all quoted me the same price! How to choose?

Courtney Taylor, Errol Bowen, Marvyn Gayle, as well as going with a tour group like Ocho Rios Authentic Tours (Elizabeth Flowers) or Wentworth Tours (Wentworth Pearson)... and I'm still waiting to hear back from Dwaine Bailey and Ionie McBeam...

so... has anyone toured with 2 or more of these guys to help me compare??
