1. Well we are on this cruise with the overnight in Labadee. When the cruise was booked, the over night was suppose to be in Puerto Rico, but they said it was a mistake and the overnight was meant to be in Labadee. We have called RCCL and they don't know of any plans on the island when we arrive.

I guess we will find out soon enough.

  2. We are sailing March 21st and I was told that as of now there are no plans to have an unlimited plan. The last cruise we took we bought the unlimited plan and we loved it. The site says that they will be having them in the spring possibly. Hopefully that means my cruise since we will be leaving on the first day of spring.

  3. You can only pre book *dinner* reservations for the specialty restaurants. When I go into the cruise planner for my current sailing, Devinly Decandance is indicated as $0 for dinner. It no longer indicated the charge of $20 which I already paid. Waiting for confirmation from Resolutions.

We already booked dinner there the first night and we were charged $20.00.

  4. I highly doubt that Izumi is going complimentary. I did notice on my cruise planner for 1-23-15 the menu for Devinly Decadence is different than the menu online. It appears the menu on the link below only has 4 entrees where as my cruise planner has 12 dishes for entrees. So if indeed Devinly Decadence is going comp, they will or have changed their menu to a limited selection for Entrees. Devinly Decadence will only add another 110 seats.

The following 12 Entrees items are showing on my cruise planner.

    Grilled Chicken Enchiladas

seasoned grilled free-range chicken breast, corn tortillas, low-fat cheddar, cilantro, black olives and enchilada sauce. served with a mixed green salad with a housemade salsa-lime vinaigrette topped with queso fresco (480 calories)

    Chorizo Lasagna

special house-made extra lean pork chorizo nestled in layers of whole wheat pasta noodles with two cheeses and plenty of house-made marinara sauce (450 calories)

    Three-Cheese Stuffed Shells

jumbo shells stuffed with lightened up ricotta, mozzarella and Romano cheeses and smothered in house-made marinara sauce. served with mixed green salad with a housemade basil balsamic vinaigrette (470 calories)

    Meatball Marinara Plate

skewers of housemade extra lean, free-range beef meatballs in housemade marinara sauce. served with a mixed green salad with a housemade basil balsamic vinaigrette and a whole grain dinner roll (450 calories)

This link brings you to the RCCL website and it says that its free for breakfast and lunch and a charge for dinner.

  5.
Interesting, but would not surprise me if they wait until the next sailing to impose the change. They would not want to irritate all the people who already paid to eat there on your sailing, then have to deal with refunds, etc. I can see why they would wait.

We are sailing on March 21 and we already booked here and as of today, we have not received any refund.
  6. Really enjoyed your message about your impressions. I have a question. My friend and I are on the March 21 cruise and still cannot make entertainment reservations. If we book all meals at 6:00 pm, do you think we will be able to go to any entertainment that is scheduled that evening?

We are on the same cruise as you and we have made all of our reservations for 5:30 to be on the safe side.

    See you soon

  7.
I discovered yesterday that none of the dining reservations that I made were in my cruise planner. Of course, since it was New Years day, they were closed. Today when I was able to reach them they said that I never made reservations for dining.. If I had, they would be in the records. That is just not true! Before I finally was able to make my reservations I was kicked off numerous times because they were having problems. Today I was finally able to reach someone and she could only give us reservations for three nights in Silk. Am I supposed to spend $5,000 for a cruise and eat in a cafeteria? Has anyone else had this problem?
When is your cruise?
  8. By the way - my sister in law had bought a CD with all the pictures of our cruise. She looked at them this morning and they forgot to take off the electronic copyright stamps which makes them useless. Are we just being picky again or do you have any suggestions on how to make lemonade out of this?

Just to let you know, the pictures are an outside company that RCCL lets on board to take pictures, so you might want to contact them and they will most likely be able to help you to get rid of the watermark.

  9. Why would you be so picky and want your food to be perfect? Life isn't perfect.

If you are given lemons make lemonade and have some fun!

    Sorry - couldn't help myself..:)

Just for your information, I wasn't asking for "perfect" food. I was asking if I wanted to try Lamb that I never had before and if I didn't like it, I could order something else. I was trying to live a little with my "lemons"

  10. We have a quick question about the special restaurants. When you go to these restaurants, are you allowed to have more than one entree. We were wondering if you would be able to try something different and if you didn't like it, you could order something that you know you liked. I (Barry) is a very picky eater and would like to try other things but don't want to be stuck with it if I don't like it. I know we are going to Wonderland because she wants to go there and I'm very scared I won't enjoy myself because I'm very picky.

Thanks a lot for your help and Happy New Year
