  1. Thank you. For Icy Strait Point, they were recommended Glacier Winds for whale watching, andJuneau Harv and Marv.  Do you know of any hiking type tours in Juneau? I'm not finding a lot.

  2. My daughter and her husband are cruising from Seattle Aug 27, 2022. For those that have been here before- which port would you whale watch? It looks to me both are good, but if they chose one, what to do in the other port? They like hiking, etc. Thanks in advance!

    HOT OF THE PRESSERS GUYS.

Hope this email finds you well – received your note from Mr. Bayley.

I apologize for the trouble and confusion.  You see, your Future Cruise Credit was issued as part of our general non-refundable deposit process which normally gives our guests one year from the time it was issued.  But we get that with everything we have going on…and all of our new world rules, as related to Cruise With Confidence - it can be very confusing for everyone all.

So, no worries – we actually made the decision to update all of these non-refundable deposit FCCs till the December 31, 2021 expiration date for alignment and more clarity for our guests.

It’s gonna take a little bit – because we sent out a HUGE batch when you got yours.  So, please stand by – but you will see a new one with a new expiration date in the next week or so.  Bear with us, please – lots going on.

    All the best,

Yay! This is awesome! I emailed Bayley and Freed, but have not heard back. I also screen shotted your email. Let's hope we all get a corrected voucher. QUESTION- if the new one says expires 12/31/21, do we still have to book by August? I thought I read that somewhere in the policy.

i just spent almost 7 hours on the phone getting the runaround. The customer service team obviously is not equipped and/or uninformed completely that this presumed error is happening. It seems no one can help right now it is maddening having "supervisors" make up new policies that are written no where. I had one literally tell me that the CWC doesn't apply to non-refundable deposits, that is written where?

I've emailed Michael Bayley at RCL alerting him that there is potentially a system wide issue with the FCCs as multiple individuals are all getting the same error that is contrary to the terms in the CWC. We shall see if someone on his team responds.

I emailed Mr. Bayley this morning also. No response yet. What's your guess on how this will turn out?

Thank you. Can you please post your results on this thread? I hate to lose the money. If I do, I'll sail Norwegian out of NY instead.

  6. I canceled my 6/26/20 cruise in March. I was told good through 2021, but later, read a year from the cruise date.  I now want to cruise 6/24/21, but my voucher says expires May 28. My daughter works for a school, which is why we booked the last week of June. Will they give me an extension? I hate to lose my credit.

  7. I went a couple of years ago, and didn't book an excursion. It's a beautiful beach day. We took the tram to Columbus Cove, which is the last beach. Great swimming (no rocks), less crowded, and the bbq was set up close by. I was with my daughter, so we rented float mats. We had a really good time.
