Thanks @Chairsin. I've got some dri fit shirts I'm taking and have some rain pants I can put over my yoga pants, jeans, or whatever I decide to wear. May also just wear some exercise pants. I'm just stressing because I'm cold natured and don't want to freeze. Being from Alabama, I freeze at about 45-50. Lol

The two days I'm concerned about are the one where we take the small boat tour of Tracy Arm and another where we are taking a tour in Ketchikan thru a rain forest with Wild Wolf Tours.

Our stop is short also. I think we arrive at 7:30 pm and leave at midnight. I'm thinking we will just do the walk from the cruise port along fisherman's wharf to downtown. We'll want to eat somewhere, preferably with a view and not outrageously expensive. Any suggestions ? :)

Thank you Vicki ! I have all the outerwear but was having a hard time with what to wear on the ship. So used to packing for the Caribbean. Lol. So pants of some kind and dressier things for dinner is what I think I will go with. I'm sure I'll have too much. I always over pack :)

We've rented a car thru avis and doing the drive ourselves. I've bought Murray's Guide as recommended by several on here to use. Think it will be nice to go at our own pace.

We'll be on our cruise the first week of July on the Legend. What is it like on the ship? Should I take warm clothes or would capris be ok? I'm from the south and having a really hard time figuring out what to take:) any thoughts or suggestions are appreciated .

I know it's been a while since your thread, but could I possibly get a copy of the Fun Tiimes? We are going this July and would love to get an idea of activities, etc.

Loved your review. We are sailing next July. We have booked the whale watching and photo tour also. I like that it is a small group and that they help with your camera since I'm definitely not a photographer:)

Do I need water resistant shoes for our Alaska cruise or will regular tennis shoes be ok? We are planning on visiting Mendenhall glacier and walking some of the trails, bus tour in Skagway to White Pass and just walking around Ketchikan. Will also do the small boat tour in Tracy Arm. We are on the Carnival Legend.

Thank you everyone! Now to figure out what to do. I'm pretty sure we'll do whale watching in Juneau. Other than that, I have no idea :) Suggestions are appreciated. We are sailing carnival so will be Tracy Arm, Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan.

We are going on cruise July 5, 2016. When should we book our excursions? Are private operators available to book now for next year? Our first cruise to Alaska. Can't wait!

Where did you find the list of movies for June?
