Apparently the Dawn just went under renovation in June of this year and Norwegian has changed all the menus to match that of the escape . Those menus are posted pretty much all over the web. The only thing that I can't find are the menus for breakfast and lunch for Cagney's.

Has anybody seen the revamped menus for Cagney's breakfast and lunch??

Sotermarler - Maya Chan's website states that if it is raining and you choose not to go they will refund you...you can't go and leave if it rains but you can decline the trip if it is raining.

I just noticed that this thread is still active. I will be sailing in this cabin first week of March. Really went back and forth about doing this vs. our regular balcony room stay; however, your pictures made my decision easy. I have spent weeks showing them to everybody I know...look this is my exact room!! LOL Getting the drink package, dining, and onboard cash was really just the icing. Thanks again for such great pictures!

When I made my reservations I prepaid gratuities . First time we are sailing in a suite so I asked multiple times about tipping. Poor reservation person finally, clearly, firmly started that EVERYBODY gets to share in the gratuities...even the butler. She said not to tip unless we felt that somebody (again she emphasized not only the butler) had really gone above and beyond. I asked agIn (being hardheaded) but aren't the butler and conceirge different for suites...she sighed..lol..and told me that yes but not for tipping...they get their percentage too...different in that I am charged more to stay in a suite for their services. Reading the boards it seems everybody would disagree with what NCL told me directly. Whatcha think?

Thanks a million everyone!! My family and I are very self sufficient and really booked the suite cause I hate waiting in line to get on and off...and I really hate the tender experience. I was banking on Maya Key in roatan Bay but it has disappeared from the excursion options. I really didn't want to ask the concierge if it is not proper....after all it's my own fault that I hemmed and hawed about doing it online...wanted to use my onboard credit! LOL

Hey Everyone! Am sailing on the Dawn in a few weeks. Staying in a suite for the first time. I was slow in deciding what excursions I was interested in and then the only one I wanted was gone - which I assume means it is full. Soooo, is it hopeless or is that one of the perks of suite life...can they get you in? Thanks!!
