Pinel Island....just a 5 minute ferry ride from St. Maarten, and you can see Orient Beach from there! Much nicer for us, as we prefer a quieter beach. We caught a taxi at the taxi stand, and our driver came back for us at the time we requested. Ferry was $6 each (RT) I think....well worth the money!

So we're sitting at the fantail having our lunch,
and we look up to see this...
and this...
and THIS...
Oh my word!
LOVE the lady in the sunglasses... look where she's looking!
And you wonder why they call them the FUN ships?!
These pictures made me LOL and GAG at the same time!

I think the view is the only difference; balcony size is the same. From your cabin you won't have lifeboats below you and a clear view looking aft.
Here is a picture of an aft view from our Glory cruise....view will be the same on the Miracle :D:
Here are the stats for your cabin:
Cabin 5121 (8G OST3) 185/60 sq ft
Beds: twin/king-1 sofabed rab:0
View: window and extended balcony connecting balconies: yes
TV; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; hair dryer; wall safe; minibar; 3-closets; shower; sofa and coffee table.
AN AFT CABIN (directly off the back of the ship) ON THE SAME DECK OFFERS:
Cabin 5270 (8I OST3) 185/60 sq ft
Beds: twin/king-1 sofabed rab:0
View: window and extended balcony connecting balconies: no
TV; telephone; 110 AC current; individual climate control; hair dryer; wall safe; minibar; 3-closets; shower; sofa and coffee table.

Hey Linda....most likely it is one of the four cabins between the corner suites. There are pictures floating around here of cabins like those....aft is our favorite place to be! Check this page:

My prayers are with you Kathie, and to the poster above....I am so sorry for your loss. You both sound like strong women with strong families....may you both find peace and courage in the days ahead.

OK, you made me cry! What a great pic and thank you for the story behind it. I hope you and you sister enjoy many more happy times - when's the next cruise? Kaboochi
Not sure when we will cruise again (HOPING for fall of 2009), but she continues to amaze me! A few weeks ago she reached her next goal of getting back on a horse! Still waiting for my niece to find her camera cord so she can upload the pictures. She has also started "working out" to get in shape so that when we do go she can ride a horse down a beach somewhere!

Luci...my son and DIL also found they worked on the bathroom door in the cabin. My grandson LOVES letters and he will sit still for a long, long time playing with those. Next to his feet is the portable doorbell we take with us too...we stick the button to our mailbox outside our cabin and if someone stops by and we are on the balcony we can hear our doorbell!

Thank you Mark, I will pass your good wishes along! She has started walking down the dirt road to get her paper every day to strengthen her legs. Her goal is to get on a horse next weekend! Since she sold her horse after her stroke she has really missed seeing her everyday. Now she is boarding two horses on her property and has a friend that has offered to take her riding on one of her gentle horses. I will try and get my niece to take pictures to share.

Watch this before you sit on the beach and watch the planes take off!

I can't tell you how many times I've said WOW while looking at these awesome pictures. Someone could put together some great photo books or a calendar!
You are right about that! I made a calendar for my DH's office using cruise pictures from last year, for this years cruise. For our cruise week I used a picture of the wake for each sea day ,and a picture from the ports we had visited before in the place of where we were going, then typed in the port. He loves it! I plan to do it again for next year. I picked some of the best to use as monthly pictures above the calendar itself.
