  1. sometimes mini suites are only a little bit more than balcony rooms. In your case i think it would be worth it to get the bit of extra space and curtain divider.

     

    In a balcony on the pearl, the 3rd and 4th bed tends to block the door to the balcony. The mini suite sofa bed also turns into a double bed which might be more comfortable for the 3rd person, rather than the twin.

     

    So the mini suite sofa does not block the balcony door in a mini suite?

  2. Here's a bunch of pictures of the starboard side of the Jewel, looking directly onto the balconies. The Jewel is the same as that Pearl. The two decks that are above the life boats are decks 9 and 10. They are the balcony room decks, which would contain the BA cabins. The deck of rooms above those is deck 11, and those cabins are all mini suites. Their actual balconies are just slightly bigger.

    Thank you. The pic helps to get an idea of the size. It looks like we should be able to get a 3rd chair, although a little crowded.
