  2. Sooooooo..... I am looking to book an inside cabin for my honeymoon for next May on the Norwegian Escape. We just went on a Royal cruise a few weeks ago where we had a balcony which I feel was not necessary. What are some opinions on what locations to book... forward, midship, or aft??? Also, what deck should we book??? Should we book lower like 8

Or 9 or go go higher like 13,14, or 15??? I want to book this week. Thanks. [emoji4]

  3. We are getting married 5/5 so we head on our honeymoon 5/6. We live in ny and love going out of the NYC port. I guess I will look at the FL cruises again but there aren't that many.

  4. Hello. I am thinking of booking a cruise from NY to Bermuda next May. The weather shows that the temperature is high 76 and humidity of 88. I don't want it to be cold, I want to be able to lay on the beach. Can anyone give me their opinions of sailing there in May. Thanks

  5. Hello everyone. I am looking for advice. We are going on a 3 night cruise on a Friday night out of Miami. We are flying in on Thursday eve to avoid craziness Friday morning. Can anyone recommend a decent reasonable hotel that does have a shuttle from the airport and also to the port. I'm willing to pay for the shuttle. I have never been to Miami so I have noooo idea what area to pick to hang in the night before. We are a couple in our late 30's. I don't want a hotel that is going to cost me $50 in transfers cruise morning. We found a hotel by the airport for $110 which is around what I want to spend...with free shuttle but the reviews said you can't walk around the neighborhood at night. Lol. I want to be able to make it on the ship the next day. Any input is greatly appreciated. :)

    Thank you.

  6. When we cruised with carnival I was able to have them assign an amount per card..That was for game room...candy shop...frozen drinks... After they spent that amount they were done...if I wanted to add more I could. Does anyone know if Norwegian can set a daily limit per card... Ex. $20 per day per card/kid or do u have to give them a set amount...$150 per card?

    Thanks.

  7. I have a question about paying for the onboard expenses. I will be sailing on a 7 night cruise next month. I have read online about the different options- Credit card/Debit Card/Cash. Any input would help.

If I choose the cash route it states that you need to leave a $300 deposit per person. I will have 3 people in my cabin- Two teenagers (Ages 16 &14) and I (Adult). Would I still have to leave a $300 deposit per child as the kids will not be charging anything? The kids have the soda package and I have the UBP. I am also pre- paying the service charges before we sail and we will also have a $50 on board credit per person.

    Thank you.

  8. Question about the $300 cash deposit per person.... I will have an adult (me) and my two children (ages 16 & 14) in my cabin with me. If I choose to go the cash route would I be required to give them a $900 deposit as I have 3 people in my room or would they settle for $300 as I am the only adult? We have the drink package and I am going to pre pay the daily service charge. We will also have a $50 per person onboard credit from our travel agent.

    Thank you for any input.

  9. The company I booked my cruise thru- Cruiseone had a promotion at the time I booked. $50 on board credit per person. This was on top of the unlimited drink package we took. My travel agent said that he calls the on board credit in yo Norwegian two weeks before sailing date. Yeah I guess I will find the $150 to spend on board but I was just wondering if it could be applied to the gratuity. And also, the gratuity for us is not $12.95. We are locked into the $12. It jumped up after we booked. Thanks everyone for your responses. :)

  10. Hello. I have a question that might sound a little crazy. I have cruised a few times but always out of FL. I am cruising next month out of NYC and we have a bunch of people cruising. We have one person going that is afraid of heights. He is fine with being in an open area on a high building so he/I think he will be fine with being on the decks hanging out. I think we will have a problem with the initial getting on the boat. We have watched a few

you tube videos of people boarding in NYC and it looks like you board on the 7th deck???? I think it might be a problem. Has anyone heard of NCL making an exception of boarding elsewhere onto the ship in NYC just to get on? He feels when we dock elsewhere and when we got on and off the 4th deck he will be fine.....

I told you it was crazy.....haha.

Thanks. Any input would be great. :)

  11. Hello, I have a question on the on board credit's. Each one in our cabin (3) will be receiving a $50 on board credit that is coming from the company we booked our cruise with. Can we use this on board credit towards the gratuity that we will pay?($12 p.p per day) I have not pre paid the gratuity charge. I was hoping to apply the credit toward that. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to do? I also have a friend going in another cabin and she is wondering the same thing as she has 4 people.

    Thanks. :)
