  1. I recently booked a 2018 cruise out of Amsterdam while on board a Celebrity cruise last month. I was offered $200 in future OBC for making the booking. I did not have the reservation transferred to a TA at that time as I wasn't sure which one I was going to use. I have been pricing this cruise with all the TAs I have used in the past, big online and smaller local, and have found something interesting and would like to know if others have experienced the same.

What I am finding is the offers directly from the TAs are consistentl lower by $300 pp if I don't use the on-board booking, but instead just book with the TAS.

I had thought when I did this in the past the TAs just took their best deal and added the $200 OBC. Obviously I was mistaken. Anyone else have this experience?

    Thanks

  2. Thank you to all that provided answers. This was helpful and much appreciated. I should have clarified this, but we were on Connie last fall and know what the M-Class Persian Garden is like. We actually liked the layout and feel of the "windowless" environment. We also liked the fact that it was almost always empty. Perhaps this is due to others having "been there done that". We have two cruises booked on the Equinox next year and we may change our mind after experiencing the S-Class version. At this point ignorance is bliss I guess.

  3. We will be on the Constellation on September 29, 2016. We experienced Persian Gardens for the last few days of our last cruise and would like to enjoy those amenities for our entire upcoming cruise. Anyone know what the current price of the Persian Garden is on the Constellation? We are not in an Aqua Class cabin. Thanks for your help.

  4. We will be on the Constellation for a Mediterranean cruise at the end of September and I recently received an email from Celebrity with an offer to pre-purchase a dining package at a 20% discount if we make a reservation for the first night on the ship. We had already planned to purchase a 5-night package onboard the first day. Also, we plan to use up our OBC on other fun things so there is no need to wait to use up OBC.

Does anyone know if the 20% discount on the dining package is available onboard on embarkation day? I realize that the prices for specialty dining can be "soft" at times depending on demand, etc., but I was wondering if others have been offered a set discount onboard for purchasing the dining package.

    Thanks for the help.
