Hi There Ok, REALLY strange question but...... We are booked on Independence of the seas, inside cabin #1581. Why does the deck number not appear on any paperwork from RCCL? Because we are also sailing on Oasis and the deck is 12, and on the RCCL paperwork it shows 12727 so I know it's deck 12 cabin 727. But also, does anyone know if the inside cabins on Independence have a couch? I have seen videos of inside cabins for Independence and have seen some with and some without.

The entire sailing. It's more of a curiosity thing because I see people comment like "My cruise is sold out how will I be able to move around..." type of questions. So I've just always wondered how they know it it sold out.

I guess that makes sense!

Hubby and I purchased the deluxe drink package. Did the math and the whole bit to see if it'll be worth it in the end. Obviously it was a "how much do we THINK we'll drink per day" and while we MAY lose some money, we figured having to NOT pay after E V E R Y drink was worth it to us! It got me thinking, how will we KNOW if it was a huge waste of money or not. So, I'm wondering, is there a way to keep track of how much we spend on our drinks? Maybe something in the RCCL app or something that exists out there? I realize we will have to remember to actually enter the data but, I just want to see if anyone has actually kept track this way?

I'm just curious.... How can I find out if the sailing I'm on is sold out? I tried to do a mock booking but I basically just counted the cabins left but stopped after a few decks hoping there is an easier way. So, IS there an easier way?

Hi there! Ok, I admit it.....I am one of "those" that LOVES to look at the exact cabin I will be staying in on vacations. Unfortunately, I've been searching E V E R Y W H E R E for a video of Oasis cabin 12727 but haven't found a single one 😞 I just came across 12727 on Allure so I looked at the deck plans and it looks to be in the exact same spot that cabin 12727 on Oasis is! Can anyone confirm that it is, indeed, the same cabin layout? Thanks 😁

Correct. My "extra" just meant on top of my vacation cost 🙂

We will be staying at an Airbnb the night before the cruise. Tried for a hotel but they were either sold out or S U P E R expensive because the Orange Bowl will be there at that time.

We will be on a 9 night cruise. Royal lot charges for day of drop off and day of pick up so that's 10 days. According to what I read, they charge $29/night. So added up, that equals $290

It would cost us an extra $290 to park at the port 😞 I see quite a few offsite that say "monitored parking" "secure parking" so, is that false advertising going on?

Also......what about off "site" parking garages? We see a few that are MUCH MUCH less expensive than the RCCL garage but not sure which ones are better than others.

We will be on Oasis over NYE and need to park our car for the cruise (have never had to do this before). Can we reserve a spot ahead of time and pay for it? Or, do we have to wait and just hope to get a spot and pay there? If we can't reserve a spot, what is the recommended time to get there to insure a close to the ship parking spot? But also, what's the best place to park (and any we should avoid)?

I'm at 130 and 187 days out so I'm thinking I'll have to wait a bit 😊

I have cruised MANY times but have never done an upgrade bid (only just started hearing about it recently...). I will be sailing with my daughter (Independence in November) and we chose an inside cabin because she is paying for herself and that's what she wanted to pay for. Can someone please explain the bidding process and thoughts from those who have done it? I know ZERO about it so I'll need all the info 😁

Hi I will be on Independence this November with my daughter (1st mother/daughter trip!!). In the past on other RCCL ships, we were able to go up to the Viking Crown Lounge. I know things have changed throughout the years but wondered if that area still exists on Independence? Thanks!

I actually looked for just the loops on Amazon but had no luck 😔

I know there are M A N Y luggage tag holders out there (the kind you put your paper tag in that you print off) but I was wondering if there is a better kind? I have a couple that have those wire circle type fasteners and 1 of mine broke and I can't find JUST the fastener. So, I thought I might just be purchasing different ones. I was thinking of a carabiner fastener but then thought those might detach. Anywho....what do you all use?

Is there still Jazz on 4 on Oasis? I thought there was but then think I read they either moved it or got rid of it.
