Looks like they made it in, based on Marinetraffic website. We were on there the previous week. Very nice ship, and we had a great time.

We just got off yesterday... There was live music all over the place... all the time. Some good, some OK. In the Two Poets, there was one night that the guitar player was joined by the guitar player from the Orchestra, and it was a great experience....
Have fun... There will be a review coming soon, but not sure how soon... Probably not before your trip starts.

Any chance you have a beer list for the Navigator, and also... do we know what beers are available on tap? Thanks in advance if anyone knows

Great thread. We are on the same itinerary in 3 weeks, and MAY still get the package, since we never have done so in the past. I have been very wishy-washy about whether it's a good idea or no, so I think the best way to find out is to take the plunge and see where it takes us...
I loved your logical approach to your post.
Much thanks!

Thanks for the info. I had seen mixed info regarding Guinness being included in the packages... I hope so... I have become a fan. DW and I are dieting now, so we feel less guilty for all the food and drink in 3 weeks. (we both are down about 22 lbs in 45 days)

Now I have something to watch next Sunday... to get me ready for 11OCT. Just found this today, and it looks like I missed today's sailaway

Probably not a bad idea... When I was on the Navigator, it was cold and cloudy.. so I spent very little time outside.. but maybe in a few weeks on the RCI Navigator.... hmmmm... sounds like a lovely plan.

Any idea what draft beers may be available anywhere on the ship?

I verified that mine was gone. I had just booked 3 business days prior. Oh well... I did a search about PVPs and found one that came highly recommended. I contacted her, and we "clicked" immediately.... I think this will work well. I am typically someone who does EVERYTHING online, but for this I have made an exception, after learning about a class of rooms that are quite nice for the $$$ from a previous PVP. :)
Anyway, worked out well so far and we shall see what happens. She also immediately got me a $80 price drop.. so, that's a start. :)

I suppose the safe bet is to go with what feels right. If you go to the UK or Australia, a Mazda is pronounced Mazz-duh, in the US it is usualy pronounced MAHZ-duh.
I would assume that the ship has an english Viss-tuh pronunciation, as posited by the previous posters, but I also don't imagine there is much harm is saying it "wrong" .. whichever way that may be.. :) Either way - I will be there 03JUN16... can't wait.

My best guess is that is a door to get to a crew area or crew staircase. I have never stayed next to one, but maybe someone here has. I would assume that crew would be as quiet as possible, and they have to sleep sometime too... ;) Even though it seems like they never do.
Just a guess ,but I hope that helps...

I found the ship to be in good shape, for the most part. The cabin furnishings and such seemed a little warn, like what you'd expect at an older motel... but not terrible.

We were on the ship about 1.5 weeks after her drydock. Apparently it was things like new carpets, beds, and some plumbing fixes. I can say that the carpets and beds were confirmed to be new, and that I didn't see any ceiling leaks like some people had reported on the World Cruise that ended a few weeks before we got on. There are some photos and such in the review on our blog if that helps any....

Awesome tips, thanks. We are on our first RCI trip in 3 weeks (but who is keeping track, really?)....
I hope to also get 2 seat tables. But can adapt if needed :)

Our trip may have been different because we joined a cruise in progress (It came through the Panama Canal, then we joined in San Diego to go to Vancouver)... but we just went to the MDR and they fed us, no questions asked. We had sailed Carnival previously and were counted as 1-star ... but no one asked for cards or anything.
-
We will take a look and join up on the Roll Call. Thanks :)

We also just recently took our first HAL trip (see review below)... It was quite a different, and enjoyable experience from other lines. We are 43, 33, and three teenage boys and we were able to find things to do and had a great time.
Enjoy yourselves... we'd love to hear what you think when you return!

Thanks for your report. We had our first trip on the Amsterdam on her way up to Seattle (we got off at Vancouver). It was a decent ship... I really would have preferred to see more sunshine... but I don't blame HAL <wink>
Thanks for sharing, and I hope all is well after the spill your DH took.

Good stuff, thanks for sharing. We went on the Breeze a few years ago, but at the time a review for us became an afterthought... now we just have to go on more cruises to get more reviews... Any excuse I can use, I guess...
Thanks again for sharing. The Breeze was a nice trip, for sure!
For us: next up is RCI Navigator of the Seas, and then next June.. the VISTA! The deck plans look like a carbon copy of the Breeze. Heck, we even got the same cabin as we had on the Breeze (also a magical 4J, but deck 6)

I think only 3 -- but I appreciate cruise food. After this thread, I almost feel like "How I met your mother" and saying "Challenge Accepted"... j/k

I LOVE Maho. Went there once and had a great time. Sad to hear the sand is gone, I would love to go back.

Are these cupcakes included, or is additional like Ben n Jerry's ? I am not sure I have heard of this before, but I'd probably eat one or two on my upcoming (3 weeks) cruise on the Navigator

Funny. I feel like this just happened to me. I tried to contact my PVP (which I just used for the first time last week), and the email bounced, and the phone extension failed. I did a google search and emailed one that someone was apparently very happy with... Hopefully it works out well. I normally am one to book online on my own, but had found out about a sale from the PVP that called, so I felt obligated to use one...
I guess we shall see what happens.
We booked the 03JUN16 Carnival Vista. Should be pretty sweet.

I felt obligated to share:
A little video I made as an afterthought with video and photos that I took when we were on our cruise. There is one shot where you can see me with sunglasses that had no lenses... Blame Insel air for blowing them off my face ;)

It sounds like you had good times, and I enjoyed your review. We just got off of the Navigator last weekend... Same itinerary, but different activities in port. Like others, I feel that it's always nice to hear a new perspective on cruising. We have done 5 cruises so far, and really enjoy it.
Like others have mentioned, one way to help shorten the lines when getting off is to do self-disembark on the earliest time slot. We did that, and found that it was acceptable, but had we gone later in the day I imagine it would have been less than pleasant.
Try other lines, other ships, and different things, and cruising gets better each time.
Thanks for joining this wacky group. :)
