I believe you have to go to Pixels to get gifts etc. and call from your cabin for in room treats and go to casino for your $25 cash.
I didn't know about the casino cash. I didn't see it listed on Carnival's website with the list of platinum perks.

Are there vegetarian options at the steakhouse if someone in your party is a vegetarian?

Carnival can never issue a gift card to the same gift cards that you originally used. When I purchased cheers packages and paid with gift cards online, once I canceled that for a refund I called Carnival online shop support and after a couple minutes Carnival sent me a refund via a new gift card that came via fedex. Sorry it's taking so long to get a Carnival rep to just issue a new gift card to "refund" you.
I recently had to cancel a cruise that I had paid for with Carnival gift cards. Carnival did in fact refund me the amount back onto the original gift cards that I had paid with. They did not issue me a new card.

Has anyone redeemed their Fun Points through Barclay Card to put towards a cruise? I have the cruise picked out and I have points that I'd like to redeem towards the balance but not sure how it works. Can anyone please help me to understand how it works? Thanks in advance!

Guys the bigger issue for Carnival is going to be "Who Will Be The Brave First Cruisers"? I am all in but I will certainly not be among the "test" subjects for their initial Voyages. Let's pray for good endings and for new Cruise beginnings for all.
I am not a seasoned gambler but my money is on Carnival's Future Success!!!
I volunteer as tribute!

We received ours on Sunday. I requested it on March 15th. The total cruise fare, taxes, and tips was credited back to our credit card.

It took about 7-10 days for everything to transfer over and show up in the booking. But yes, now I'm showing a $0 balance due and $650 OBC (the other $50 came with the new booking.) I don't deal with travel agents, I do all my bookings direct with Carnival.
For the refunds, they said that would take about 90 days, so I'm not looking for that anytime soon.
Wow! I spoke with my PVP this morning about transferring my sailing to exactly a year from my sail date. She told me that she would have to due a cancellation and rebook for those dates. She said that they didn't have a way in the system to do a straight transfer and it will look as we cancelled and rebooked. She assured me that we won't have to pay a cancellation fee. She also told me that she could only transfer about $200 over and would have to get her supervisor to do the complete transfer later on, possibly this evening. She couldn't give me a specific time that it would post showing paid in full from the transfer. I received my confirmation emails but it shows a huge balance because my total wasn't transferred over yet. Just the $200. I did pay with mostly gift cards so maybe that is the issue. I hope it all works smoothly. I am excited for the $600 obc.

The Spa on the Dream is lovely! It's the best Spa we have ever been on in the ships we've sailed. Our only issue is that we had a cloud 9 spa interior room on the Dream and we didn't check the map layout before we sailed. Once we got on, the first night we tried to sleep we found out that our room is directly under the weight machines in the gym. It was horrible!! The pounding weights all night kept us up and we couldn't sleep. It would keep slamming all night. We found out that after the gym closes at night the employees have full use of the gym so they would work out late into the evening/early morning hours. We were able to get moved to a new room on deck 7 the following day so that worked out but we learned our lesson and for future cruises we always check the map layout to see what is above or below us before choosing our room. FYI, our room was 11224.

Are the Pack N Go rates a thing of the past? When I go to that site all I see is a blank calendar:
https://www.carnival.com/cruise-deals/last-minute-cruises.aspx
I was able to book a pack and go rate last Friday for sailing this Sunday on the Imagination. It was listed under Pack & Go.

We just booked a last minute cruise on the Imagination March 15th. This will be our first time sailing to Catalina & Ensenada. I have a couple of questions that I hope someone who's been there before can help answer.
1)What is the weather like this time of year? Is the water too cold to get in the pool?
2) Is there shopping right off the pier in Mexico like there is in Cozumel? If so, can you find some of the usual items like vanilla, t-shirts, etc??
3) What is recommended to do in Catalina ad Ensenada?
Thank you!!

What was the cost of the all inclusive at Paradise Beach? Does it include all foods listed on the menu as well as anything from the Taco Truck? I have never seen the hammock area before. Is it new and is it only if you're doing the all inclusive?

Does anyone have the Barclay Carnival credit card that they use to purchase discounted gift cards from AARP or ALLSTATE?
Barclay will not allow me to use it when purchasing the discounted cards. Anyone have this issue?

I see you're sailing on the Glory next week. 80's Pop is not on Glory but Epic Rock is, so don't miss it.
Yes I am! I’ll definitely go check out the Epic Rock. I love anything 80’s!
thanks!!

80s Pop to the Max. There's also Epic Rock that features rock songs of the 70s and 80s.
From a Cruise Critic update on Mar 15, 2018: Which Shows Are on Which Carnival Ship?
80s Pop to the Max (Carnival Conquest, Carnival Dream, Carnival Freedom, Carnival Miracle, Carnival Paradise, Carnival Pride, Carnival Spirit, Carnival Splendor)
Thank you!!

On my last cruise which was last June on the Dream we had an 80’s show one night when they had the stage props and music all themed from the 80’s. We enjoyed it so much!!
Does anyone know what it’s called and if they still have this?

I know it sounds strange, but I've had my best vegetarian meals on Carnival in the steakhouses. When we get on board, I confirm my reservation with the steakhouse hostess and tell her I'm a vegetarian. They always have sent a chef out to talk to me about my meal and they've made me some exceptional dishes. I think it gives them a chance to branch out and they usually come back out and ask me my opinion. I've never had as good of treatment in the steakhouse on any other line. In those, I usually end up with a baked potato and whatever veggie side they offer. My husband loves his filet and wants to go to the steakhouse at least twice a cruise.
I never knew that the Steakhouse will do something for Vegetarians. I never booked it before because I didn't think I'd be able to have any thing since i'm vegetarian. Thanks for sharing your experience!

I enjoyed your review so much!! Thank you for sharing. I have 2 questions. Did you say that if you don't use the free laundry they will credit your account? and where did you get that adorable black pant outfit that you wore for the last elegant night?

Does anyone know if the Miracle has had any upgrades or will have some in the near future? I was looking at the ship when deciding whether to cruise for Christmas and noticed that it doesn't offer a lot of dining options that other small ships around its same size does.

.....It was still pretty coolish. We were expecting better weather/temps, but from a couple from Michigan all we had to do was think of how it was back home to appreciate this weather. Mary Ann was on her Ipad. That reminded me that I would have to call down to the internet café and see how to activate my already paid for account. We made a plan for the day. First off. Seaday Brunch, then we’d explore this new ship.
I made my call to guest services about how to get my prepaid internet account activated. Easy Peasy. Just go to the Carnival Hub App. Go to “Internet Plans” Punch in your Folio # and Birthday. I was now connected to the internet. Tried out a couple of things. It was FAST. Loved it!! We finished getting ready, and headed to the Meridian dining room. We were seated at a table and handed menus (good start this time). The menu has changed from our last cruise, earlier this year. They had added a few items. Missing?? Although they will sell you these “fresh squeezed” juices. I didn’t see where you could just get a glass of orange juice on the menu. BOO! A day without orange juice……Note to self to go get some from the buffet before we hit Seaday brunch next time.....
Is that a new menu for all ships or only the Horizon?
Ships with Libraries??

Does anyone know which ships still have libraries on them? On a recent Radiance sailing I saw that they do not have a library onboard, rather a small nook that has books in it within the coffee bar. Any help is appreciated!
