Did you book the cruise to stand in a larger shower or chill on a larger balcony,,,ps you get the full size lounger, same one that is around the pool!

Other than a very simple continental breakfast which is free between the for about 4 hours in the morning, room service incurs a charge of $7.95 per order. The fee is waived on items that have a cost associated to them such as alcoholic beverages and special orders (cheese plate etc.)

Just be prepared for a lot of kids - most NJ schools have off 3 days that week, and apparently either cruise from NY/NJ, or fly to Orlando (we've done both). It's just more crowded.

I'd book dinners and shows ahead of time. There will be over 1000 kids on your sailing due to the teachers convention (I assume you chose this week for that reason). I don't know how old your kids are, but if you are interested in spa passes, book them ahead of time to save some $ - the pool deck will be nuts, and we loved having an escape from the crowds.

that is why we booked 2 weeks later at 1/2 the cost

we got a mini suite on the 8th floor

it was only $10 per person more for the large balcony

from the picture it looks like you can fit 8 lounge chairs on the large balcony, vs 2 chairs in a regular balcony.

you can cash it out in the casino for a 3% fee and use cash to those that serve you as an option too.

What if the 3rd and 4th guests are over 21,, I do believe that everyone over 21 in the room needs to get the UBP,,,unless this rule has changed

Yes, we routinely bring a 12 or 18 pack of water. We have simply taped a luggage tag to the pack in some cases, but now use a small nylon suitcase that folds flat to check it.

 

Some ports won't handle water as luggage and you have to carry on if it's not in a suitcase. We haven't run into that, but like our nylon suitcase.

 

The drinking water on the ship is pretty good, and safe, but it is chlorinated so if taste is important to you, go ahead and carry on some water!

I just made my final payment the other day and I was allowed to reserve burn the floor for nov 16th at 9:30 and rock of ages nov 17th at 9:30

WiFi is nothing more than a connection method. It is available on ALL Norwegian ships and it is FREE.

 

Once connected to the network (via WiFi) you will still have to pay to access sites outside of the network (IOW, the Internet).

Driving in NYC ain't all that bad, despite what you might think. My honest suggestion..? Drive aggressive , or be left behind lol. Can't really help much with parking, as luck has it, my employer has a lot 2 blocks from the terminal that I've parked in for free the last 6 cruises. One thing you might look into, theres several hotels in Staten Island, minutes from the VZ bridge, that might work out for you as well. Good luck, and have a great cruise :D:D
