  1. What's a special dining room table request? I mean, what can you request?
  2. Does anyone know if there is a place you can rent snorkeling equipment along the beach, closer to Jack's Shack?
  3. I don't exactly know why the rooms were set up this way. My MIL did mention that because four of us are from Colorado and the other three are from Missouri, they had to split us up dependant on that information - I don't think that would matter but she is just going off what her travel agent told her.
  4. This is great news. So I don't take care of it when I check in to the cruise port? I go straight to guest services when I board the ship?
  5. We booked through a travel agent - does that matter?
  6. We have three rooms booked for our cruise in July - my mother in law booked the cruise but because of the way she booked it, our rooms are a bit mixed up. We are coming from different states and my three daughters and I arrive first. She told me that its easy to change rooms and that because we arrive first, I would just need to talk to someone when we check in at the cruise port. Currently, the three rooms are booked like this: 1) me and my oldest daughter (2 person room) 2) my two other daughters (2 person room) 3) my mother in law, sister in law and niece (3 person room) she wants to switch it up to this: 1) me and my two younger daughters (3 person room) 2) my oldest daughter and my sister in law (2 person room) 3) my mother in law and niece. (2 person room) How hard is this going to be? Who do I talk to? I'm nervous because I've never had to do this before and I don't know who to talk to or what to say.
  7. This might be a silly question but I just want to clarify before my cruise... all alcoholic drinks have an additional 18% gratuity attached... do you tip the bartender on top of that? I didn't purchase any alcoholic beverages on my last cruise, so I am not sure how this works and I don't want to be stingy but I also don't want to overpay!!
  8. Do you know if you can get an actual room for day use?? I was thinking about booking a hotel room but that's a lot of money for only 6 hours..
  9. Miami - we leave our city at 11pm the night before and get to Miami at 5am.. our ship boarding time is noon. We want to be back to the port by 11:30. We would need options that are open before 10am.
  10. Miami - I just updated my post to include that important info - thank you for asking!!
  11. Our flight gets into Miami at 5am the day our cruise leaves the port. If all goes well and our flight does not get delayed, that will leave us about 6-7 hours to kill, until our ship boarding time. We don't want to sit in the airport/cruise port the entire time. Any suggestions of what we should do - if anything, around the port in Miami? Would you stay put in the airport/cruise port or would you go out adventuring??
  12. I'm checking me and my family into our July 20th cruise... I have all our info entered except for our airline details. When I try to enter that I get an error message saying "Flight arrival date and departure date cannot be in ship sailing period." Our flight comes into Miami on the 19th so we are good there - our flight leaves Miami to go home on Saturday, July 27th at 9:30 at night... yes this is the last day of the sailing period but its 12 hours after we dock. Is anyone else having this issue? What am I doing wrong?? Can I call and do the check-in over the phone? thanks in advance for any help you can offer!
  13. thanks so much! (I can't believe my typo - I'm still panicking at the thought that strangers on the internet think I want to get my underage daughter drunk on my cruise LOL)
